I missed this train, but happy to be riding it now. I remembered c2c from their excellent dj-ing skill. It popped up in my head and I found it again. But I found this song and album as well through a RU-vid comment. Man, this is so good. I wish C2C would make another album.
We are going to begin to act Beginning, today To do whatever needs to be done Let’s get on with the job World has turned over many times And it transformed the history of man Either the will or the skill to fight We are ready to take part But now further direction is required Tonight, the battle has been joined We will not fail Regrettably, we now believe that only force will make him leave I just wanna say this right now That regardless of what they say about it There is nothing new, only different Never forget this The future is to those who take it All I say that nothing is easy, and the best things are the hardest That isn’t enough It is madness Some men see things as they are and say why I dream things that never were and say why not Epic battle has ended Thank you, good night, and farewell
@@Thomeeno : not all of this comes from movies I think. IIRC, the "dream" thing is from JFK. EDIT : JFK did say that (sample) but it's a quot form Bernard Shaw apparently.
+Haplo Patryn i think that's perfect for some niche music like this, 2M true blue listeners, it would do a disservice to this music if it caught the attention of the mainstream
The track features speeches by many historical figures. They come come in the following order: -Ronald Reagan -General Douglas MacArthur -John F. Kennedy -John Foster Dulles -John F. Kennedy -George Bush (father) -Richard Nixon -Adlai Stevenson -Dwight Eisenhower -Ted Kennedy -Spiro Agnew There's a speech between the ones from Reagan and MacArthur that I couldn't identify properly. But I hope this helps a bit
It's not hip-hop, it's more breakbeat, which is a genre that makes use of hip-hop sounds mixed alongside others, which is pretty much what this song is. Check out C2C's website or lookup breakbeat on Wikipedia for more info.
It's breakbeat/turntablism. Electro Swing is renewing swing music, which this isn't doing. It's certainly not any type of trance. It uses a lot of turntable sounds and has a heavy hip hop/breakbeat relation.
at 4:10 thats probebly my favorite JFK quote but did you know that durin his berlin wall speech his said the famous words "Ich Bin Ein Berliner"? the problem is that he was supposed to say "Ich Bin Berliner" (which means I am a berliner), instead because he said ich bin EIN it roughly meant I am a jelly donut in english because the Berliner is a type of very popular famous donut from berlin. lmao yeeeaaa history line fuckups!!!! xD
Actually if you really look it up most sources point to the fact that because he wasn't really a Berliner and he was speaking figuratively, that's why he must add that ein in there.
actually this quote is from Robert F Kennedy, Jfk's brother nah? I just saw a video on his funeral and someone said that "like he said many times... (and the quote)".
