At 20:30, you talk about riding that section of the trail while it was still being built. Off the top of my head, I'd say I've been using that section of this trail for at least 12 years as part of long runs between the National Training Center in Clermont and Lake Minneola's Waterfront Park. Two years ago or so, that section was being repaved and so partially closed down. Is that what you're referring to? Or did you really ride this before 2012?
Looking back at the History now on the view point on Google Maps, I can see you are right about it being there for a long time. It dated back to 2012. I wasn't familiar with the trail and it was my first time there. They must have closed it to resurface it. It was just before 2020 which was before I got my GoPro Camera. I captured video there in February of 2020 and the trail was there. I am stumped when the date was though. I checked the Disston Ave side at a view point on Google Maps and I see dates back to 2008 there that show a trail but, the photo is grainy and I can't see how far it went from Disston Ave there. I can assume it was there in 2008 too. All I know is big black guy yelled at me for riding there. Part of the trail was dug up. I didn't know my way around the area so, I rode through the trail way. I guess I just assumed it hadn't been built yet when they were redoing the asphalt there. Thanks for pointing that out!
