You have just taken your C5 to the next level!! What a beauty!! Now make sure the C4 doesn't get too jealous, and keep giving her some love! Congrats, brother. What an inspiration!
I just had my '93 Anniversary Edition fully paint corrected and ceramic coated. It is well worth the time and effort for sure. Your C5 turned out amazing!! I was wondering how the paint damage on the door would turn out - that's just awesome! Paying for correction and coating sure beats paying for a full paint job!
I honestly didn't think the top of that door could be corrected. That's amazing. I loved the reflection of the C4 in the passenger door. GREAT picture.
Funny, my 04 pre-owned LeMans Blue is in this week for a paint correction and ceramic coating at the same time as yours. I don’t believe and neither does my detailer that a paint correction has ever been done. Visited his shop Tuesday and had a look at the right fender. All I can say is Whoa!!!!
Surprised you didn't take this on. Rounding out spring break Vette maintenance with a full Rupes DA kit. Far easier than I thought it would be to get excellent results!
Wow. Just mind blowing how many scratches, etchings, and such that process takes out. Is there any need to wax after doing the ceramic coat, or would wax extend the life of the coating perhaps? Also, would you recommend doing a clear bra or expel on the front end after this? Thanks for the great content, Chris. I especially love anything to do with detailing, cleaning, polishing, etc. Way to go!
Wow! Looks awesome! Have you considered the red ring around your rims? It may really add a nice Red touch to your beautiful white C5. I still really like the racing slash’s on the front fenders too!
Also have you ever replaced your passenger light motor? I did and now it goes down too far and I have to manually raise it 9-10 turns before it will go up. I replaced the stops just in case but still no luck, any help? Thanks you can pm me
Not related but, my daughter lives in south Phoenix and needs some fender and paint work done on her Hyundai. Recommendations ?? Thanks, love your helpful videos !!
Chris, have you ever considered inviting a viewer to bring his vehicle to you to maybe help fix a problem or add a modification. I’m volunteering if you hadn’t noticed. There is no way I could do the cluster repair. I appreciate you getting back to me so promptly and keep up the good work/videos...
The car sure looks great! It looks especially good without the body side moldings. It is a much cleaner look! I assume the C4 will get the same treatment down the road?
Chris, what's the correct size to replace my map light with LED. I'm told three sizes sylvania 578 44mm festoon, sylvania 42mm festoon and a 21-2. Thanks
Amazing at first I thought he left the roof panel hazy and dull then realized it was your hazy and dull ceiling lmao only need to know what kind of money for job as good as you got
A Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle's factory paint, creating a layer of protection. Basically a permanent wax job, for simple explanation. Depending on what ceramic is used, it could let anywhere from 3-5 years.
