Nice vid bro. Always targeted mods to do 10s at 135 and you are right there. 1.55s are awesome j was hoping to do it on a 1.7-1.8 60ft so i guess I'd need more power. Too much wheelspin on nitto DRs on the street? 1st gear usable or useless?

sick! wow crazy how much better et you did than me. Im not far off on power, dynoed at 508 to the wheel but I did 10 runs and stuck every time around the 12.2 and 12.3 mark (120/121mph). Thinking I need a driver mod and some new tires LOL. Great runs bro! Do you happen to know what the factory gearing is because I cross 1/4 mile at the top of 3rd and you were well into 4th.

Stock gearing will run to 125mph in 3rd gear at 7000rpm. With a really good launch and shifting, 500whp can get you in the high 10s at 125-126mph in the right track conditions.

@@xpeacemaster not sure you know how hard breaking into the 10's can be. It's easy to say it, maybe i'm wrong and you have personal experience in doing so on your z06 but ive yet to see a stock z06 run 10's, TRSCobra did some kick ass runs to get down to that 10.5. Just my 2 cents, unless you have run your car down a track, you won't see the difficulty there is in that. I ran Street Car Takeover this year in Commerce GA and you would be shocked at just how few guys were in that class and what all they had done to their cars to get there. My 11.0 class had very few stick shift cars in it and almost all were nitrous, turbo, or supercharger. The ones that werent happened to be other vettes running NA in the 11's. I would have personally done better in the open stick shift class than 11.0 class. Anyway, Cheers mate!

@Angelo Bovara how did you get 600whp out of a base model c6? Supercharger? I did pretty much every NA mod you can do to an LS3 and ended up with only 508whp. Would certainly be interested in what you did differently. Cheers!

With 3:90 gears what does your 4th gear mph end at?

143-150 depending on what tires I'm running

In 1/2 mile racing I cross the line at 159/161 mph that’s ending 4th gear. Is your 5th heat strong or when you shift into 5th gear it drops off quite a bit ?

@@mariaperez4145 I haven't ran the 1/2 with the new drivetrain. I hit 163.6 on the stock gearing in 4th gear with 315/35/17 radials bumping the limiter at 7300rpm. Had the new trans built with a .80 5th gear to avoid the large drop to .74 with the stock trans, but shifting into 5th at speed is pretty difficult
