The gearing in this car is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Hands down my favorite corvette besides the C6 ZR1. I hope to own this beast one day amazing car man

Love my stock C6z after almost 10 years of owning one it stills brings a smile to my face every single time I drive it

Still to this day the C6 Z06 holds the NHRA national record for a normally aspirated totally stock production American car running street legal drag radials. 10.74 in the quarter. I bought myself a 60th anniv 427 convertible back on Thanksgiving and it's the finest car I've ever owned and this includes my 95 Viper, which I'm selling. The 427 convertible is truly an engineering masterpiece.

Absolutely nuts. In the Mustang world in the 2000s, this was the car to beat. It took Cobras with 700hp to beat this car STOCK. What an incredible car. After putting 28 grand into my 03 Mustang, I can only hope it'd be this fast.

i plan on buying one within three next year or two, i would be very content with the stock performance i’m at least for a while i think, but unfortunately, knowing me and how i like to drive, i would need to do the heads pretty upfront, and of course means i might as well do the cam, and obviously the supporting mods like header intake and exhaust

I enjoy how the odometer moves as if the car pauses for a brief sec to take a quick breath, then surges viciously. Each time. Without fail. Even well past 100mph that needle was still movin' like it meant it.

Last year I owned a 2008 base model corvette. Extremely impressive. I traded it for a 97 Viper and honestly I don’t know if the Viper is a bit weak or what but I keep thinking about that Corvette.

Porsches are in a league of their own so Im not going to even begin to compare the two. I’ve driven a lot of cars, at really the only other car I’ve driven that I can say compares to my 1995 bmw m3 in terms of handling is the c5 and c6 zo6s that I’ve driven!!! (Just a side note, this generation of m3 was recognized as one of the best handling cars in the world for its time). It’s a trip because from the outside everyone including myself thinks the Vette is a heavy boat that is made for only one purpose, straight line speed, and oh boy was I wrong about that!!!!! 😅 They corner amazing and handle unlike any other American car I’ve ever wheeled, epic fucking cars, absolute epitome of American Muscle💪🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

2006-2013 stock Z06-One of my fav Corvettes with no superchargers or silly turbos. Crazy acceleration with a stock 7.0 505HP. Big block HP in a small block package, and a daily driver.

Does your oil psi seem low for those rpms? I've got a z51 c6 and when I'm at 6k rpm my oil is tacked at 80psi
