Mayhem in Monsterland came out in 1993 - 30 years old! It was one of the last "official" releases for the C64, quite a testament to what a great technical achievement it was at the time that it still feels new
Definitely. Much like the Amiga, the hardware capabilities of the Commodore 64 wasn't pushed to the limit until the end of its production (and well beyond).
Nice video. I have one question for you.. Is the C64 reloaded mk2 powered on when you programm it with the terminal program (PC) or is it NOT powered on???
I'm thinking about getting one of these, and this video is making it easier to justify the purchase. I have a bread bin C64 I bought last summer and also a new PSU but I haven't used either yet because I discovered the Reloaded MKII. I am not a slave to period correctness and I don't tinker with recaps and all, I am a software guy mostly. Having new hardware that uses the original chips appeals to me. Also, what is your capture card? It looks really good.
Steven, On the hardware side of things, I use the Elgato HD60 Pro. It's an internal PCIe Capture Card. They have a variety of Capture devices that may suit your needs.Though Elgato has their own Capture Software, I use OBS Studio. It's free and works well for my needs.
@@amigaretro4765 I have the old Game Capture HD external. Most of my videos that are using captures are done with that. I do classic Macs mostly on my channel, and it's hard to get a good capture but not impossible with the tools at my disposal. Thanks for sharing.
