This video shows how to easily install Paragon intake guards to a C8 Corvette. Paragon Performance has come up with an OEM like side inlet guards solution! Protect your radiator (Z51 owners) and intake inlets from unwanted road debris and rocks! Includes drivers & passengers side.

CNC laser cut from aluminum and then powder coated in a black finish to blend in front of your inlets. We're the only ones out there who took the time to create this bolt in solution with a custom machined punch pattern to match the OEM style.

Yeah not a big fan of those grills. If they made them removable completely with screws, one could clean behind them. That would drive me nuts not being able to clean area easily. Alas, each to their own.

Usually I agree but I totally understand the need for these. I just think they could have been designed a bit better.

@@Ricky_R These are the only bolt in side grille guards on the market. Every other option just floats in the opening and you're hoping they don't fall out.

@@ParagonPerformance I understand, and these do look high quality. I also personally don't have any problem with the 3M tape, that stuff is super strong. I just don't love the shape of it compared to the opening in the Corvette. Obviously I know you guys put a ton of thought into but at first glance it just doesn't quite look right.

I put these on my C8 two years ago. Your instincts were correct about the tape. I ended up using silicone adhesive at those points.

Great looking car with a hot engine. As a former two cycle go kart racer those air inlets do not give me peace of mind. I think Chevy took a big liability cutting corners here. The replacement guards are ok but do not stop all the leaves. Personally I remember a stray pebble at 120 mph hitting me in the nuts nearly caused me to crash. That is what I think of the replacement guards. Thank you for the video and your installation was strong. I would have gotten grumpy with the install the first time I did it.

I am surprised that a car of this supposed caliber wouldn’t have something like this already installed. Nice car but Chevy’s lack of these type of detail is disappointing 😢

These should have come on the C8 as OEM standard equipment, especially for what vehicles cost nowadays. At some point GM might/should make this (or release this) a Tech Service Bulletin (when not an actual safety issue) or Recall Notice. No doubt a poor design flaw. Good call and job. I'm guessing the owner gets stuck with 100% of the bill of the warranty work in this area.

Great upgrade it’s a must to keep garbage out of the engine ….Gm has always been get it to market & let the customer test it ….u figure Gm would of come up with an upgrade

@@apexdetail85 well if it's small stuff not big deal like I would prefer to get the line playe holder that clips onto the hook instead drilling into bumper get rid some decals or black um out depending on car
