That looks really good for the price. I'm waiting on Paragon to get their 4 piece kit back in stock this fall....gives you side skirts, front splitter and rear diffuser for about 1100 bucks and may be slightly better quality than this....hard to say. They give you better hardware...actually rivets to the bottom instead of screws. But for the money I think you did really well on this. Hopefully they hold up and the finish stays nice. Well done!
Learned my lesson from my C7 on the self tapping screws. They will vibrate and wallow the hole out and become loose. I reattached my side skirts with rivets. Big difference. They held tight and pulled the skirts tight to the body. Oh, another lesson learned, have all the ground effects ceramic coated. Trust me. After a few months the road grime started to wear off the finish.
So far, I've put on the identical side skirts and rear spoiler lips you put on. And added the splitter too....looking good. I too think the screws they sent were complete crap. Had to find better quality screws at Advanced Auto. If you keep modding the C8, I may be in trouble with the wife... Good channel and thank you for your service.
Hell yeah man 👍🤙. I always like to link up with other Vette owners in the area (time permitting). I'll be at the huge Corvette show @ Waterside in May again with both Vettes. Thanks btw 👌
@@VetOnVettesI wish I could attend man I won’t be home off my ship until mid June. But best of luck to you and your cars at the car show. What in the make and model of side skirt and front splitter ? Do they have a website or link you could post? These are a great price I looked at paragon and ACS and they are a lot more expensive.
