In this video you can enjoy the cab ride - train driver's view from Miramas to Marseille-Saint-Charles on the famous Côte Bleue railway/Blue Coast Train in 4K/60 frames per second.
The Miramas to l'Estaque line, also known as the Côte Bleue line, is a standard-gauge French railway line that provides an alternative route to the Miramas to l'Estaque section of the Paris-Lyon to Marseille-Saint-Charles line, passing through Port-de-Bouc and running along the Côte Bleue.
With its incredible architecture and exceptional landscapes, it’s a legendary railway for good reason. The construction of the Côte Bleue railway, between 1907 and 1915 required 18 stone viaducts, 2 bridges, and 23 tunnels. The railway offers a stunning journey through a rich landscape where several works are listed as 20th-century or historical monuments.
