Travel with us on the 20 mile journey up to Abergavenny from Newport. Points of interest are firstly the triangle of track where all steam specials to Cardiff now turn to face east ( Paddington) and are pulled in reverse to Cardiff. Prior to this move, locos went light engine from Canton to Newport to turn. Along the line I've indicated points of interest. and at the end included the latest shots at Abergavenny with its newly painted bridge and waiting rooms.
