This section takes us from Sulphur Springs to the wye at Gary and is the final episode of the cab ride. I have other bits and pieces, such as backing out along Adamo drive and the track work being done at TUS to prepare it for becoming the final destination for the Meteor and Star.

Great series! I love the radio chatter! I heard the Dispatcher telling a train to couple up to a car at TUS ! I love it! Again this is amazing to see how it all has changed!

I just thought it might be , cause how he told you to come on up. That,s how he talks He cannot into trouble anymore. He passed away 9-04-2012 So you don't worry .Thank you posting great videos .Keep it up. GOD BLESS YOU !!!

Back then the Sulphur Springs rail was not a dead end rail back then. You could get on the Brooksville line and go north still. Now it is dead end's boo! :(

@boweandrew3, Tampa had a city ordinance of 25mph on that line due primarily to all the residential areas.

It was not Porter Tindale. I don't think I ever met any on the crews of that name.

The branch-off at 3:38 was an industrial spur or was that a former line to someplace else? I don't recognize it...

That's the spur by the golf course that goes to the City of Tampa water plant.
