Bonsoir, dans un premier temps bonne année et meilleurs vœux à toi et tes proches. Merci pour cette vidéo où je peux voir le rvb entre St Denis et Villers le bel dont je conduisais les ttx ^^. Pour tes problèmes de parasites, ne serait ce pas ta carte mémoire qui ne serait pas adaptée ? ( genre capacité d'écriture trop faible ? ) . Sinon y a t il une raison réglementaire entre ta pancarte REV et refermeture du DJ en 25KV LGV qui soit décalée ? Est ce par rapport à l'attente de la remontée TVM en premier puis le DJ ensuite ? . En tout cas merci et continues comme cela par de belles vidéos :)

Merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo qui permet de voir ce trajet Paris Lille-Flandre que j’ai eu l’occasion d’effectuer un certain nombre de fois (famille dans le Nord). C’est bien de comprendre que conduire un TGV nécessite une attention soutenue tout au long du trajet. Bravo à vous et à tous les conducteurs qui nous conduisent à bon port. 👍👏 PS : est-il possible pour un voyageur lambda de monter avec un conducteur en cabine de conduite pour ressentir encore mieux votre quotidien qu’au travers d’une vidéo même très bien faite ?

Fantastic stuff, I really enjoy watching your TGV videos. One question - when entering the LGV and accelerating to 300kph - is the TGV Duplex being driven on 100% throttle? Or is there an economical acceleration rate which drivers use. Please forgive my lack of French language. Thank you and happy new year :-)
drivers usually don't exceed about 60/70% of the power when going up to these speeds. But there is no clear indications/rules on how to accelerate, it depends on the driver but going 100% throttle will not be confortable for the customers, plus the time table is calculated for an economic drive ( less/no throttle while going down hill etc) If you're late their informatic device will ask them to go up to 300 km/h if you're early to reduce to 273/281 and so on for example.
As good as the TGV Duplex is (and it IS good) woud the government let Alstom build it for AMTRAK? Liberty Duplex is a capacity monster - it holds LOTS of passengers - twice as many - if not more - than the existing Liberty. How much extra engineering would it take? Surprise - little or none! Liberty itself is the same design as the existing non-Duplex TGV; therefore, how much extra would it take to build Liberty Duplex> Then there is the other factor - the capacity factor. I mentioned Liberty Duplex being a capacity monster - which is, in fact, the reason for the hew and cry FOR it. It would replace the Amfleet Regionals along the NEC - and trainwreck the *for the wealthy* BS that Amtrak has been beaten over the head with since it was created.

No film...this is electronic recorded and the auto focus on the camera is trying to refocus on objects in the frame and can't keep up, thus the jerking ! Fast action filming should be done with auto focus turned off.
Anyone know what type of trainset is at 54:15 ? I'm curious because I don't see a raised pantograph (and the train isn't passing through a neutral zone)... Just wondering...
I think that section is where they change the pantographs over from the LGV to the "normal lines" type/setting, the sign at 54:03 instructs you to drop pantographs (with 53:12 warning you of the approach) and at 54:12 right before the Eurostar train the sign visible is where you can raise the appropriate ones again (once all pantographs that will be used have passed that sign). (If you look close enough at 9:11, you'll see a similar sign and from that point there's a similar procedure, although the purple blurs out some of it you'll still see the drop/raise pantographs signs.)
