Thanks very much for the review. I’m looking at a similar product on amazon. 1/8” is what I like with bottom round. I’m tired of bugging the meat cutters at the grocery stores, even though I always hook them up with some jerky, I’d rather just cut it myself. Thanks again

Farberware Edgekeeper Tabletop Hand Held Knife Sharpener. These can be found at target and believe it or not they’re $5.99. Don’t let the price fool you because I’ve had this one for quite a few years and I just drag my knives through it every once in a while and it puts a razor sharp edge on them. Do you think the stainless steel board will dull the knife?

Not at all. The blade edge just skims along the rails. No flat contact with the sharp edge

Hitting the blade on the end of the board sure wouldn't help hole an edge

Yeah. I see I tapped it a few times. Not sure that light tapping will significantly damage the blade. But, I think with some practice, I could be more proficient. This was my first time on the cutter board. I’ll be making some Elk jerky soon and I’ll try to reducer the tapping during slicing. Thank you for watching. Appreciate your comments. Stay safe!!!
