Your content has really helped me with my super tight food budget. This dish is a prime example of splurging on a really good meal and by golly we deserve it. I just recently bought a new wedge of Parmesan Reggiano and it's by far the most expensive ingredient in my fridge. I think it's important to have these simple yet delicious meals. We might be on a budget but we work hard and gosh darnit we deserve it 🙂
Hello Chef, I have two questions for you. How much salt do you add in your water? I always hear Chefs say to add lot of to make the water taste like the Sea. Doesn't this water make the dish really salty? Thank-you for sharing ❤❤❤
"Make it taste like seawater" is a general rule of thumb; BUT you want to use less salt if you know you have a salty ingredient you are adding later. Like in this dish, for example.
Honestly frankie anything below five bucks I think constitutes a struggle meal these days.... I can hardly go out and get a meal for ten bucks if i'm paying for something someone else made
I can usually figure out some Italian because I know Spanish. But my poor brain could not figure out what "cacio" was compared to Spanish. Duh, "queso"! My brain is so tired. It was the C instead of the Q that confused me. I need to go to bed...
