Cade is averaging 23 7 and 4 while being the only player in the league who averages over 20 points a game that doesn't have a teammate that averages at least 12. Let that sink in.
@@Dawg476 Like I and the content creator said. Put Cade next to another guy that demands offensive respect opens up the paint and you'll start to see that higher percentage. There is no use having this conversation without using proper context.
It drives me nuts how often we have 4 players below the free throw line. Cade draws a crowd and there's absolutely no outlet for him at the top of the arc on most of these plays
UNWARRANTED CHARACTER ASSASSINATION. The Pistons got the toughest opening schedule in history. Chill with the finger-pointing at the PERSONS that play.
Excellent take. Nobody in the NBA could carry Killian Hayes and Ausar Thompson as their wings. Cade got severely screwed by the early season lineups he was running with. When the lineups improve Cade will take off like the star that he is.
When you have the highest usage rate on your team by a mile at 31%, you're a HUGE part of the problem 🤣🤦🏻♂️. Until the Pistons realize that, they'll never win a game
there's a reason for that usage rate buddy. Its because no one else on this team can do anything reliably on offense by themselves. He has to create for everyone most of the time with terrible spacing to make things extra difficult. The only exceptions are bojan and maybe ivey. But good luck convincing coach monty that ivey should start next to cade LOL this team is painful
They'd be worse without his high usage rate genius. He's the best decision maker on the team, you expect him to hand the ball to inferior decision makers and somehow that'll make the Pistons better? Pls grow some logic
It is too soon to tell. He's very young. He's one of three very promising young players in Detroit; things may not be so bad in Detroit in a couple of years.
How do you build a roster with out a player who can actually play power forward. Can't build a franchise around 3 young point guards. As a pistons fan I agree with you. It's not on Cade.
Cade is a good piece(not sure if hes that guy) Unfortunate how the guy gets hate without even looking at the roster and the front office😂 Always thought Nick nurse and udoka were better options(cant remember if they were still available when detroit signed monty) since they seem to understand how to develop a young team.
Cade is 100% that guy idk if you just watched the same video I did before typing…. Guy is technically a second year player averaging 23 on a trash team…..
Cade is not a "PIECE"... he's a HUMAN BEING, NOT AN INANIMATE OBJECT, HATER! FUNNY HOW THE FRONT OFFICE AND OWNER GET HATE WITHOUT YOU LOOKING AT THE NBA GIVING THE PISTONS THE TOUGHEST OPENING SCHEDULW IN HISTORY.
Still not moved on Cade. Gotta become a better shooter and better finisher as you mentioned. I feel like he needs the ball in his hands to be effective, and idk if he’s good enough to be THE guy.
I think he has the ball in his hands wayyyyy too much, that is the problem. Pass the ball, that's how you make spacing. Taking Cade off ball, like I've been advocating for weeks, is definitely helping. Cade also needs to play about 15 minutes less per game.
Cade just needs to go. Detroit will figure it out but not like this. We should be talking about one of the elite guards in the nba not someone who’s being held back by his team drastically in this way.
Of course it's not Cade, Jaden Ivy or Jalen Duran it's Troy Weaver he sucks at building teams and a horrible gm. They should fire him. He is at fault. He drafts horribly and he traded Bey away he's obviously has no business in front office position.
If Cade wants to win, he needs to demand a trade. He's NOT the problem with the Pistons. The problems are Troy Weaver, Arn Tellem and his cronies, and Tom Gores.
It's not his fault, but he is part of the problem. I have watched him play since his first game. Cade is not an NBA PG Period. He is too slow, and does not handle the ball well enough nor make smart decisions with it. Cade OFTEN makes unforced turnovers. At least 2 per game where he literally just throws the ball away. Either he doesn't understand the play or he gets bottled up near the sideline and just tosses it into the stands. He is also not a good shooter. The man is ranked near the bottom of THE ENTIRE LEAGUE in FG% and 3pt%. He also doesn't rebound very well. Just barely making it to 4 per game. At his size and his position I would expect him to be near the top of rebounding guards. Teams are leaving him open at 3 and crowding the paint for a reason. His main asset is a dribble drive and a pull up 15ft jumper. Those things he does well. The Pistons need to move him to SG and run him off of double screens all night long like they used to with RIP and if his shooting % doesn't jump drastically trade him.
@@scottwickett1273 why would you pity me? This is the truth. Not only do I see it with my own eyes, other nba teams do as well which is exactly why they sag on three, soft double in the corners and sidelines knowing he will make a mistake. Every advanced statistic also tells you this is true
classic overreaction to a player still very early in his development. You do realize he's only like 22 games into his second healthy season right? He's basically an early second year player in his development. And as the video clearly outlined, he's literally in the worst situation that a primary playmaker can be in the NBA lol. No shooters around him in the starting lineup other than stewart who is a low volume shooter and needs someone else to create for him. Then bojan came back a few games ago and what do ya know? FG is up turnovers are down. And he can play a little more off ball now because bojan is a reliable secondary creator. Does he need to work on his 3pt shot, finishing at the rim, passing skills and overall IQ for the game? Absolutely yes. Can he get maybe 2-3 healthy seasons to improve before the fans demand to trade him? Apparently he can't even get a full 2 seasons lol
Cade is definitely a big problem and is directly responsible for losing 5 games. If he simply could make shots, the Pistons would not be so horrific. Cade not only is the least efficient starting PG in the league, and almost of all top scorers, but when it really matters, that is when Cade is really really bad. His hero play at the end of games has been a zero. His shooting is getting better but is certainly far from being consistent enough to rely on. He should never run an offense, and the Coach has started taking him off ball, which is really helping. He also needs to play 15 minutes less per game. His basketball IQ is lacking.
Yep. He's super inefficient and not much of a passer. Takes a long time to score without getting others involved. His defense is meh. He's a shooting guard small forward at best. Please get the ball out of his hands. I really think they need to give Ausar next summer league to be the point guard. He at least has the mindset to pass the ball and will play defense to keep the team spirit high. Cade is a bust imo.
This opportunity to kick the Pistons while they are down was brought to you by Adam Silver, bestest buddy of Donald Trump's Son-In-Law, Jared Kushner. AND Judges appointed by BUSH & TRUMP that DISCOURAGE ENFORCEMENT OF ANTI-TRUST LAWS. Will Adam Silver be able to get away with it again NEXT SEASON?
My only response is yall didn’t like Drummond when he was avg 17.3 pg 15.6 reb and claims it was his fault and he had empty stats and now Cade is giving you the same thing empty stats we are still losing if we had a Cade caliber player with Drummond at that time we would of been better all around. Honestly Cade isn’t helping us late game Cade ball is why we are losing momentum and leads in the 4th quarter. A solution is to have him be off ball and let a passer distribute him the ball instead run the ball into a crowd of defenders and have to kick it out to the other side
Dollar store Luka. That’s what he is. When you watch Cade he actually seems pretty good, but he’s way worse in ever aspect of the game. This video was a horrible take.
Cade is a turnover machine and has no pulse. Show us you care!!!! Bogey the only player worth anything. Duren is young but we know what he will be in today’s NBA. Sasser is the only other player that can shoot. Ausar is a bright spot. Hayes is trash Monty has crushed the confidence of Ivey. He’s playing wiseman??? Why?? Clean house!!! Start over again!! Weaver has had 4 years and gotten worse! I’ve had it!!!! Signed a Badboys fan. Isaiah is rolling over in his grave right now.
You missed that the Detroit Pistons... "drew"(?)... the STRONGEST OPENING SCHEDULE IN NBA HISTORY! You MISSED that Cade Cunningham has 9 new teammates to build chemistry with. You.. missed(?)... (OMITTED)... that 2023 LEADING SCORER Bojan Bogdanovic has been out. You MISSED A LOT.
@alwaysabrown - It seems you have taken great advantage of the opportunity that giving the Pistons the TOUGHEST SCHEDULE IN HISTORY HAS PROVIDED. The OPPORTUNITY to "Kick 'em while they're Down!" Enjoy it while you can
I don’t blame Cade but my god he is painful to watch on the defensive game, he used to be so much better at defense in his rookie year although he is overworked and is gassed by 4th qtr so I assume he is trying to save energy
Gassed. Exhausted. Fatigued. Beset with multiple games worth of inflammation. It is time Pistons fans COMPLAINED about the schedule. ANY CONTENT CREATOR IGNORING THE SCHEDULE IS DOING VIEWERS A DISSERVICE.
For your statement to be true, you'd have to blame the Pistons for having the toughest opening schedule in NBA History. It's the NBA's fault, not the Pistons.
@@RandomDude19868 Bojan just returned from injury. Harris & Morris haven't. The rest, for the most part, are still recovering from the "death schedule".
@@J.Ragland-hz1er The schedule is totally irrelevant: there are 27 teams they have no chance of beating, so what difference does the order of the games make?
