Honestly, I'm not super worried about Horford on Doncic. Doncic isnt exactly a speed merchant and Hordford has always moved his feet well for his size and definitely has the size to handle Doncic's physicality. Edit: I'm not saying he'll do a great job on him. I just don't see him being worse than any other big and being played off the court for it.
Jaylen Brown is as good an option as exists in the league to put on Luka. Not saying he'll stop him or shut him down, but he will do as good a job as basically anyone.

My dude let's give Luka Jokic's supporting cast last year do you think they miss the playoffs? So now Jokic teammates are trash when they where the best last year? Isn't Jokic supposed to make them better? They didn't shoot well but that shouldn't stop them from winning, you can't depend on the 3, that means your offense can't adapt. They weren't able to overcome Minnesota defense while Dallas could, Jokic-ball has flaws that got exposed, it's on them to adapt. MVP are narrative driven, Jokic got one this year because they didn't give it to him last year, Luka would have gotten it if his team was less injured this year, nothing to do with individual performances.

MPJ averaged 5 ppg against Minnesota so try again and Murray was not 100 percent so it was not Jokic. He still played at BITW level. Luka has one good series Kyrie carried your team in 1st two series while Luka could not but a jump shot let’s be real! Also, Murray missed 29 games ans we still finished tied for best record in West. You were injured huh more like Jokic was a real mVp and carried team.
Also the narrative of Boston being huge chokers is so overblown. They have had clutch time struggles in games but over the past 5 years they have overperformed more often than underperformed. Even last year they didn’t choke as much as the Heat came out the gate hot on the back of Caleb f’ing Martin and went down 0-3. Then they almost became the first team to complete the comeback but Tatum sprained his ankle bad minutes into game 7. To even force a game 7 is literally the opposite of choking

Jokic stole 2 mvps from him, the first MVP, Luka put up better numbers and his team had better success. This most recent MVP, Luka had better numbers, dealt with 9x more injuries and still won 50 games. Jokic couldn’t win with just Aaron Gordon, Murray, and MPJ. Luka could. Jokic also needed Bruce Brown AND KCP. Luka does a lot more with a lot less help. This is the 5x NBA FIRST TEAM in 6 seasons, Euro MVP, Killer here!!! The “Best Players” y’all name are all ball dominant, stat heavy, basketball players. I’m not sure I’m okay with the way our game has evolved into this being what we deem the best is. Yes, it’s very vital to have stats back up your play, of course. But as a former player, and now a coach.. the truly BEST players are just as valuable OFF the ball as on the ball, offensively and defensively. If the team isn’t built around you and every player is still empowered to be the best version of themselves.

If you're going to rank individual players, you guys need to look at advanced metrics like DARKO & things like +/- On-Off over a few seasons. Just using counting stats like Points, Rebounds and Assists gives you Russell Westbrook MVP....too much attention on POINTZ!, defense is 50% of the game
I get that the show is called Nerd Sesh, but Carson has zero imagination or gut feeling. All his takes are based on analytics and he seems to pick the favorite in every series. He doesn't take intangibles into consideration. This kind of thinking is why Luka didn't win MVP this year
