I'm very good at starting projects, but not so successful at finishing them! In this week's video I talk you through two projects and update you on my lack of progress.

I’m “catching up” on your videos starting from the beginning. So fun. I’ve signed up for my first quilt a long…not for me. I’m collecting the fabric but haven’t made a block yet!

Ha--unfinished projects? It's a very large club that you belong to here. I just finished cleaning out my sewing room and have 2 very large tubs of "donate" fabric. Some quite old. And to help me I made 2 lists. I have 17 quilt kits that I had put together myself to make. So ambitious. And 11 unfinished projects. All of which, I discovered, that I really still want to make. So, I'm starting with the one that needs to least finishing. Such a freeing feeling. Gig from California

Yes, we are a very large club aren't we? But it sound like you have it all organised though, I'm impressed. I love the idea of making your own quilt kits! And 11 unfinished isn't so many hehehe. I have about 10 unfinished projects floating about, bags, quilt blocks, dressmaking, knitting etc..! But I’m currently in the ‘bunting making mood’ - so everything else will have to wait🔻🔻🔻🔻xx

Aah Cadence and Tula. Love your fabrics. No I’ve not quilted Cadence and no I’ve not put Tula together.. haha. In my head they are both finished though. Apart from those 2 I’ve got no unfinished projects. 🤥. Lovely 10 minutes.

Don’t think I’ll ever want to make such a complicated quilt project 😱 I’m a sew it together and quilt it - if it ever gets finished - quilter 😂 I’m trying to get some of my works in progress completed so I really need some rainy days/sewing days 🤣🤣🇬🇧

I have two on the go, including the same QAL as you. I've got my 64 blocks done, but I'm a long way from a finished top

Love your channel! I have too many projects in process to count. You are inspiring me to get better about having more finishes. I just have so many quilts that I would love to make. What is one to do?❤❤

Ahh thank you so much. Lovely to have you with us. There just isn't enough time is there? Just pick the one closest to hand and do it. It's a great feeling and might spur you on to finish more. xxx
