Another mini trunk show with Robin Pickens of quilts from Sew Alongs. See quilts from 100 Modern Blocks (book by Tula Pink), Wanderer's Wife (pattern by Jen Kingwell) and Kinship Fusion Sampler, all sewn while participating in Angie's GnomeAngel.com sew alongs. A final sew along with The Village (pattern by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co by Carrie Nelson) in a scrappy house quilt.

Thanks Janet! I try to make them into a cohesive group through color a lot of the time. It was kind of a surprise to me that I enjoyed doing these samplers so much. I think the community of sew alongs makes a difference in the experience.

Amazing Robin! Just a note that Jen Kingwell’s quilt pattern is called Gypsy Wife. I did one years ago and it was fun and a labor of love!! You are an inspiration with your beautiful fabrics!!

Hi Janelle! Thanks for commenting. Yes, it was called Gypsy Wife when I made it too but has since been renamed Wanderer's Wife. I just went with the new name but I'm sure people can still find it under the original. Thank you!

I can’t decide which is my favorite. It changes every time you show the next quilt. I loved the little 1/2” border bringing in all the colors.

I find that samplers often have SO many different types of blocks, that color can really give them structure and purposeful layout. Thanks for your lovely comment!

Wow! I finished one of the Gnome Angel Kinship quilts and thought that was an accomplishment. You did two of those plus more. They are all so beautiful. I love your color combinations.

Hi Martha, I did all regular patchwork piecing. No special rulers or FPP. I do use my variety of quilting rulers but just grab what is nearby! Thanks for your comment!
