I sighed that Canada has all kinds of high end stuffs, from TT scope to Cadex rifle/chassis, all are inaccessible to us. --- from a normal Ruger American + Arken guy
through this rifle I had about 40. That is not my norm, normally about 10. for a rifle at this price point the expectation is shootting right out of the box
@@EpikArms For that high end price point that makes sense. I've seen rifles in around the $1000 price point really tighten up once they get up around 100 rounds.
I would humbly suggest that the rifle isn’t tracking under recoil resulting in vertical dispersion. Shoot prone and bipod. That rest isn’t helping you at all. But OEM vs Custom right there!
Can you share your preferences between the canadian dream rifle and this cadex? I Ithink they have the same trigger model and can mount the same scope. But do the other components bring a different feeling when holding/shooting? Thanks!
for accuracy id say it was quite comparable. other than that the Canadian dream rifle ias a 90 degree bolth throw, it has a simpler chassis than the Cadex with a few less options.
I'm planning on running one of these for next year. You failed to come back to the weight and balance. Also what was your impression of the brake? In most of the video it appears you were shooting with no brake.
Correct, I did ammo testing with it, and for some reason the groups, were ok. But not ok for the price. I retested the match ammo without the brake, and then it performed well. The balance was good once I added weight to the front. Without the weights I found it too front light.
this is false is it not? Only the X95 MSW 13" restricted rifles that were reexamined and have been determined to be fully capable full-auto therefore are prohibited. NR ones are completely fine.
Cadex needs new designers. That buttstock is ugly af. Looked like the forend weights were contacting the front rest not allowing it to recoil straight back. It was tipping up and causing more muzzle rise.
Correct, hence why when the 3 shot group is crap I leave it at that, but when the 3 shot shows promise I keep going till it turns to crap. If a 3 shot group is 2" why waste more ammo, it wont make the group any better.
