Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the music, especially the part during Silver Dawn's portion? It sounds like the Imperial March, but instead of intimidating, it sounds glorious.

I'm a total normie so I kinda giggle whenever Rimmy make sexy walrus noises when he sees a chaos fidget spinner and an imperial burger.

From what I've seen, this setting is an absolutely f*cking insane hellhole, but seeing people who love 40k going full anime schoolgirl-tier over 40k lore/happenings is literally the most wholesome and satisfying thing. I could listen to it for hours.

I gotta give credit, whoever wrote and edited the cut scenes for that prologue made it look damn good. The pan over Abbadon's ship at 17:40 with the sun in the background casting it in that evil glow said, this is the bad guy, this is a super duper bad guy, it's kill or be killed, all or nothing. All in about a 10 second slow pan, excellent cinematography. Even if you didn't know jack about the setting, you would know that ship is worth your last breath to defeat to save the good guys.

For those unaware, the pylons were creations by the necrons during their wars with the old ones countless millenia ago, when they still were flesh and blood. The pylons in this case contain the eye of terror-but their original purpose was to cut the warp itself from reality, and the area around them does such. This was in hopes of cutting the old ones, the eldar, and others off from the warp so they could not use it in the war, since it was a major advantage the necrons lacked. This would prevent warp travel, use of eldar web ways, all things psyker, and more. The pylons on cadia are in fact why the cadian gate exists, as while they do not cut the warp off completely they stabalize this section of the eye of terror, preventing the chaos of it from interfering with warp travel. Cadia is the only reliable way into or out of the eye of terror because of them, as warp travel to and from cadia is "reliable" as far as warp travel ever is. If you try and travel to or from the eye of terror any other route, you essentially are relliant on the chaos gods to guide you, not to your destination, but to whereever the F they want you. There is no consistent method to travel the warp even with a navigator due to the chaotic storms, time and space are both unreliable.

Hey, Rimmy, did you pay attention to the background at that cutscene where you see the plyons going to work? If you did, you might have realized that BTW, those arent stars, those are the literal millions of ships around cadia fighting and ducking it out.

This vid is approximately 22 minutes of Rimmy getting edged by this game. Absolutely need more.

I'm glad you enjoyed the prologue as much as I did on my playthrough; A full playthrough will take an absurd amount of time but I would love you forever if you showed us all the fights against the Titans (the Ancient One, the Space Hulks, etc.)

There are 2 kinds of reactions when warhammer 40k is involved... Its either "this is dumb" (Hearasy) Or its creaming your pants at the near unfathomable scale and hardcore violence utterly unique to a universe where of its name dosent sound like a metal album or the reason behind a crusade its not worthy. I love the reaction of awe and would watch every one of Rimmys videos on this because someone this outwardly passionate about one of my favorite games is something I would get hype for. Cadia Stands The Emperor Protects And long live Lord Admiral Spire. Cant wait to see more.

i want more of this. i love what i have seen, yet dont know if i would be able to actually play it rn as i have 2-3 other games to go through. one of which is a replay of a good 100+ hour, 100% run of a game.
