Some are even funny! Your 4-Note horns are louder than mine! I forgot they were louder until the mid 1990s, once GM started making the waterproof 2-wire connected 4-note horns.

I love those! I wanted to buy one but they were so expensive, priced at $7,000 or more back in 2014. I know they are worth even more now. I never win the auctions. But if I had the money, I'd totally get one.

Thanks. Yeah, you should do this to your Lincoln. I was always a Lincoln guy but I must admit, GM made the best horns for Cadillac. I'm really surprised at how many people are impressed by this sound! I'm also surprised at how many others have made this modification to their car! You should go for it and make the modification! you can get the horn from a junk yard or from eBay.

Harrison S Okay. Also, it could be that you had 4 note horns but maybe two of them stopped working? It's not often they easily die out but they can sometimes.

@1996ChevroletImpalaSS No, I actually sold it in August 2022. But before I sold it, I bought another one to replace it, just like the last one. The newer one I have is the identical same color in much better condition with sunroof and leather seats.

Hello, thanks! You can buy them off of eBay or just find them in the junk yard. I personally make more of my purchases on eBay than on Amazon. eBay has a wider selection of items both new and used than Amazon or Craigslist. Just do a search for 4 Note Cadillac Horns. They come off Cadillac, Buicks, and Oldsmobiles from the 1980s-1990s. They are a 4-note set of four 4 horns. You want to get a set that has A, C, D and F.

Hey, thanks. You can find these horns from Cadillac DeVilles, Fleetwoods, Buick Roadmasters, and pretty much all the GM B-body vehicles of the early to mid 1990s. The 1994-1999 4-note horns come with water proof 2-wire connectors (positive and negative ground wire plug) They run off of a relay. You can order the horns on eBay and when you do, some sellers will provide a relay at no extra cost. It is highly recommended you use a relay because they horns use a lot of power from the battery.

Yeah I saw a whole setup on eBay, but they cost a bit. What's the latest model year car that you would find these? I was just planning on going to a junkyard and taking some out myself. Do the earlier or later model years sound any different than the earlier ones? Thanks!

Yes, the older ones from the 1960s to the 1980s sound different than the 1990s ones. The 1990s are not as loud as the 1960s to the 1990s models but they sound more harmonic and I personally like that sound better. Also, set up for the 1994-1999 models are easier because they don't require a ground wire.

+Nick Zimmerman Two Cadillac Horns are mounted in the front body of the car, behind the headlights and the other two located next to the front radiator grille. You have to be creative as where they go. They can go anywhere you have room for it in your car. They were bolted with holes and mounts already made into the car when it was built. i didn't really make as much of an instructional video on how to do this. I had help. I just made a video of how they sound.

I got them from eBay. Just go on eBay.com and search "GM 4 Note Horns". They come in a set of four loud horns which are the A,C,D, and F note. They're two high notes and two low sounding notes, giving that train horn sound! They don't make these sets anymore. They used to be made by GM from the 1960s-1990s to go on certain Buick, Cadillac, and Oldsmobile cars. There are still a few of them remaining on eBay. If you don't see any there, you can also try the junk yards.

Yes, you can. Just make sure you have a relay attached to all four of the horns to the battery system so that you don't burn out the battery.

I agree! I didn't care for the stock 2-Note horn on my '89 Town Car, either! The 4-Note GM horn sounds so much better on this car!

Charles Smith ya it makes it sound like a Granada. .did the new horns fit ware stock ones did ..as they are tucked in by side panels

Two of the new ones fit were the stock ones did but the other horns needed to be tucked in behind the left panel headlights.

Samuel J. Just mount it wherever you have space in the car under the hood. Put the first two horns where the original ones where and the second pair of horns can go where there is open space.

Samuel J. You're welcome. Hope this helps. A friend that's an electrician actually put this horn set in my car. Most mechanics didn't even know how to add horns. It took an electrician to do this car mod.

Austin Thomson You're right. You have a good ear for it! I had to re-upload the video becuase the notes were off on this video. I had to change out the C-Note horn in the car which was making it loud but not as nice as the other video, but since this one sadly got more likes, I kept both videos.

years ago, i had my oil changed in my 96 DeVille, ( my favorite car I ever had) and the guy drove it out the garage bay, and hit the horn and a little girl with her Mom standing near me , said " Mommie where is the train?" I bought the car used , had been a 1 owner car, and traded in on a new Cadillac, and I bought it off the lot at that Dealer. It drove and rode better than any Lincoln I had driven and ridden in
