Troubleshooting a no start problem. Battery was good. Gave it a jump anyway and still had the same issue. Thought maybe it was the brake switch but the brake lights were good. Engine would not Crank.

I figured it out. Rain water leaks into the inside under the driver seat and their a module right there. Dry the water out and wait a few hours it’ll be back to normal. Freaking GM
My neighbors car is doing the same thing. It's getting power and fuel and I'll have him check the starter switch. Last time he had an issue with the key fob.
All u have to do is buy a new one and then swicth the insides on both of them and get a refund. U got a brand new inside starter and returned the brand new outside starter. Hehe
