Time to grab some steel and fabricate the low-mount battery box for our Yamaha Virago. We chopped off the center stand, fab'd up some mounts and figured out a way to mount the battery, regulator/rectifier, and the starter solenoid all on one box. Neat, tidy, and tucked up out of the way where no one will ever see.
Using a small lithium battery and a suitable Rick's Regulator/Rectifier means there won't be any weak links in this setup.
