Thank you. I always wonder if I'm talking too much, but I usually come back to if I have trouble seeing it as a local, the new people would struggle with it too; and an explanation would be helpful. lol.
We have several in the area that I'm hoping to feature in the next few weeks while it's "cooler". The clermont one has it's staples and usually has a nice produce stand, too. But it has some unique ones often too. - Stef
There are a couple double clips in this one, but just enjoy the ride! I'll get better at video editing as I continue this journey. Thanks for watching! Be Safe Out There, Neighbors.
Thank you. I always wonder if I'm talking too much, but if I come back with, I have trouble seeing these things, then people not familiar with the area would have trouble with it too.
Thanks Stef! Very interesting. I am not used to seeing signal lights that are hanging on a wire/cable. Lol. I hate roundabouts! You must have laws/ordinances that say the signs for businesses cannot be that high. I thought the garages for the apartments were kind of far away from building. In Las Vegas I would be scared to come home at night if my garage was not close. Do you have low crime in that area? Is a lot of the crime closer to Orlando?
Most of the lights here are on wire/cables. We were driving down Avalon road on Friday and Liam was trying to understand what the "tennis rackets" and "blimps" were on the utility wires. It took me forever to figure out what he was talking about (ironically, his description was extremely accurate.) We finally figured out it is how they wrap the extra wire to make it fit correctly. lol. I'm guessing there must be some law in place for the height of signage, but I find it extremely frustrating trying to drive anywhere here and find something because of all the trees and lack of visibility from the signage. lol. I'm not sure about the crime specifically, but Lake County and Clermont area is generally considered suburban and more remote from Orlando. My guess is that the garages are mostly used for storage and not for parking. The parking lots near the apartments are huge, too, so it would make more sense to park closer and carry things up the stairs than fight with a garage. Especially if people are sizing up or down or using the apartment as a transition this might be more cost effective than an actual storage unit. I get a kick out of the townhouses with detached garages, too.
@@ResortTV1Homes Thank you for answering. You are very informative! Even though moving to FL is probably just a wish, I really enjoy learning about how things are in other states. It would be frustrating trying to find stuff with the signage. You are probably right, they might use garages for storage.
