We know what it's like to move - across town and across the country - with more people moving to Central Florida every year, we want to be a good neighbor and a resource for those looking to move. When we moved here a few years ago, we didn’t have any family in the area and we had a very short amount of time to find a place that would be a good fit for us. It would have been much harder if we were trying to buy a house. We want to be a helpful neighbor and connect you to someone who can really answer your questions about the areas you are searching. Our aim is that this site will be a growing resource for you. We will feature our local resources, neighborhoods, even shopping, dining, activities, drive-arounds, or hear from people who live in the area. We will also visit with our partnered sales agents here, across the US and maybe even in other countries to see what the housing market is like in other places. So, let's make the most of this beautiful day. Won't you be our neighbor?
I enjoyed this video! Stupid question, since it rains so much in the summer, can residents stop watering the grass, shrubs, trees, etc…and rely on Mother Nature? Do you just water in Winter?
😊🎉❤. Thank you for the road trip, really enjoyed it. I live in a park here on 27 South. Other side of lake Wales. A lot of building going on here also😢. You have a very nice family.😊. Take care.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed this! I noticed a lot of building on our way down to Bok Tower. It's still an interesting drive from up here in the Disney Area. I would love to do Hwy 27 all the way top to bottom and stop at all the stops. I think that would be quite an adventure. lol.
It has been quite a few years since we have visited Bok Tower Gardens. Thank you for showing us many of the changes, Steph, and including Liam and his reactions.
Yes. This area is confusing for a local person, too. lol. However, if you are looking for a home in the Clermont area, this is a great huge help to get to the parks. - Stef.
According to the Visitor Guidelines - No bicycles, skateboards, skates, hover boards, RC vehicles, Segways, Razor-style scooters or golf carts are permitted. I can see where it would be a lovely place to ride, but the paths are wide enough only for about 2 wheelchairs to pass. If you are moving too quickly, the speed and limited visibility could be a problem if others are on the paths.
What a beautiful place Stef! I will certainly add it to my list! I have to add that when Liam said his favorite thing was spending the day with you, it really warmed my heart…so very sweet! Thank you both for taking us along!
My grandparents were snow birds from West virginia. They had a place in Arcadia. Whenever we would come down to visit, we always made a trip to bok tower. It was my grandfather's favorite place. This video brought back a lot of memories ❤
The Crayola Experience looks like one of the best places for kids - creativity and entertainment for hours! Rockin' Paper fascinates me. 😊 Thanks for sharing your day - great job! 😊
Yes. So many activities. I love that each one is unique and offers a different exercise in creativity. We often take time to do molding clay or do the painting area too. Every visit is something completely different to experience.
Having grown up in a rural area and on a farm, my family has always enjoyed the fair! Happy to see the tradition carries to Florida. It looks like a really cool fair! Thanks, Dad, Mom, Josh and Liam for the tour! 😊
I didn't see any on this one. I was surprised. I'm guessing they would have something at the state fair in Tampa. I have that on my list for next year. lol.
During the auction did you buy a cow? 😄There really is something about a local state fair. Our state fair here in Alabama is next week. I go just for the sausage pepper sandwiches.
We did not buy a cow. I will definitely be putting this on our calendar for next year. We definitely have been missing out. The food is a major highlight for me; I'll be curious to see if they have anything gluten-free. Sausage pepper sandwiches sound delicious!
As a 4H and FFA alum, and a future Ag teacher, thanks for showing the auction and giving our world a shout-out. Every bit of awareness we can get helps, and I'm sure it brought back fond memories of your Dad's time in the classroom.
Loved hearing Liam say “but also have a good day!” Such a sweetheart! The event looked amazing-much bigger and better with so much to see and do! I’ve never seen anything like it here in the UK, would love to check it out sometime! Lovely to see what you got up to at the fair, thanks for sharing Josh!
When we first moved here, I was surprised to learn that these events here are in the "winter" . The state fair is near Tampa in January and the other fairs are after that around the state. In the midwest and in most of the colder regions, these fairs are throughout the summer months.
