I personally LOVE the way he dances, I'm sure he can't help it. Every song I hear, I just wanna get up and DO SHIT, cause it's so energetic and just.. amazing.
At least the frontman keeps his personality unlike other artists. I think these guys are awesome. The lyrics are phenomenal, and their live performance on the video was excellent.
@desdmoana Kentucky is not backwater, just because it 's a prejudice against more southern places doesnt mean that it 's true. And yes, CTE is from Bowling Green, KY
5:34 says a lot , the drummer singing the lyrics doesnt sound like a big deal but it shows they're really into their music and they actually 'feel it', pretty rare today sadly..
@gunnman479000 I think thats a rumur. I talked to the singer of one of their opening bands and she said that he's actually really quiet and calm in person, but the stage thing is just a act sort of.
@deadguy555 the only thing is that his jumping around and acting crazy mixed together will ridicuously awesome music is what makes crowds jizz their pants
I believe that. but that's cuz the bass in the avenged kindof music is more of a buffer at some points, made only to follow the drums beat, mainly ghost notes(i believe, i never bothered playing av7), and just playing the D string. In this bassplayer's case, he does some cool riffs, yet we must'nt forget that he is in a band with 2 guitar players, and much the like the secundary guitar player(that does some pretty sick stuff too) he doesn't get much room to play.
Im a bass player, and it is a pretty cool riff, not all that hard tho. Most bassplayers that don't do much slaping are underated, and that sucks, Daniel is one of them, but there's a lotta bass player out there from well known bands that are indeed very good, yet don't get much credit. on the other hand there are bass players that don't do shit like that of Avenged and get way to much credit, i mean he sucks.
The singer couldn't pass his own song if they got it into rockband the way he's spazzing at every live concert, anyone know if he ever explained why he does that in the first place?
I'm a bass player as well and ummm Avenged Sevenfold is one of my favorite bands listen to the album "city of evil" he does a lot in the album. It's not his fault though its the bands fault. Hes a really good bass player but he doesn't do much because they don't let him.
i like this band...but the lead singer needs to stop jumping around so much that is ruins his vocals, and the lead guitar needs to shred more...otherwise...great groove! like it a lot!
