I saw him them live and I found Matt roaming through the crowd while beck was on, I went " your so beautiful" and he touched my hair and said it back. Such a beautiful heart.

Matt is literally the sweetest man, I've seen him in concert three times and the last time I was front and center. At the end of the concert I went up to the stage and put my hand out and he came up and grabbed it with both his hands, gave a huge smile and said "thank you" before walking off. It melts my heart every time I think about it
Its gotta be hard to play live over and over the type of heart wrenching music Matt is a part of seen CTE live 8 times and the performance is always stellar and full of emotion I appreciate and am thankful for his ability to continually put himself through those experiences just to play it live for random people Id like you all to think about how much pain it must be for artists to play some of their music live and then appreciate them that much more
Defintely Human how are their concerts? i love their music and would LOVE to see them live and suck it all in but i also hate loud noises and annoying people.

Gosh I remember when these guys appeared on my last.fm radio before it went to a subscription service and I remember no rest for the wicked and was hooked ever since thinking how I related to their music and with social cues brings up memories of my divorce and re-emerging or being reborn a better person and I feel so empowered to finish my art and release my book. So happy with this album is taking off.
Great interview. While I love 'Ready to Let Go' I am mesmerized by his performance of it on Stephen Colbert. Not just the outfit and lighting, but the moves and that he took on this character. It was amazing.
I really hate how some interviewers tell artists what their book/song/record is all about and all they’re looking for in the artists answer from their question is affirmation.
I just saw them perform in Toronto on the tour with Beck and I couldn’t agree more about the similarities between Matt and Beck! They look very much alike
Amazing album, flawless, not a bad track on it.. Mind you 'Tell Me I'm Pretty' didn't have a bad track either... Actually most of what they've done can't be faulted. Great band, great guy.
@@icankickflipok I'm glad youd say that. But I'm a realist. And l.said what's most likely. That's all. Reality. It sometimes takes years to accept. Divorce is insanely soul crushing as well. But l bet the album was therapeutic to make.
