I hope you Indiana folks are happy, Caitlin's era at Iowa was one of the most fun sports things I've ever experienced. She's truly a gifted player and just an awesome person overall.
I hardly watch any sports, let alone any TV (and so I don't even have a TV set). But because of Caitlin, I am going to subscribe to WNBA annual league pass and sign up for one of the Streaming services to watch her play in ESPNs. Go figure. (hopefully, she has a massive WNBA career)
That's too bad, because for the WNBA to see a profit they'll need more than her, sadly that's the truth. No pro sport depends on just one player to carry the entire sport it's not sustainable.
That's too bad because the WNBA as a business hasn't turned a profit since it began, as talented as Clark is that's not going to change until the WNBA learns how to sell their product as a whole, one player will not be the economic messiah, its not sustainable.
and, as she said, she's a quick learner. Like some of the all-time greats. See it or run it a couple times, and she's got it down. That'll aid in her transition to the W.
I'm trying to process the media buzz! These are practice sessions- it's crazy! I hope they don't give away too much of their strategy and techniques with open practices and many interviews. The W is finally getting the attention they want- just hope the legacy players around the league realize what a golden opportunity this is, and can be appreciative.
@@FRANKLINHURLEY-k5eMJ didn't have to shoot from half court, dimwit. He was athletic enough to get to the rim and score however he wanted. Don't ever mention MJ in the same breath with CC. She will never in a million years reach his height. Just be content you've witnessed a Great White Hope in your generation. Tell her to work on her defense and not just shooting from half court.
@@Robert-uc5pb And you are a great Black Dope. Full of jealousy and racism just because she is the best but she isn't a black girl, OMG how can this little white girl be the best and not Black! The jealous racists give the black community not a good image or look. So much hatred because she is white and so good! That's all people have been hearing and reading, get over it already. God Bless
They will probably need to expect to get the best of every team they play against since so many of their games are scheduled to be televised and there are going to be some players who are jealous who have been in the WNBA for many years and not received this much attention .
True, but there is a lot of good talent on this team and with Caitlin in the mix, the money that will pour in, etc. They're a team that will be built to handle what's coming at them.
Being under the intense spotlight she was under in college shows up now. She is so experienced with the attention and questions, it just seems so natural for her.
So smooth, easy going during these interviews. Which isn't easy. Some get nervous or shy. Not Caitlin. She understands it's part of the job and does it well, giving plenty for her fans.
The only fact I know about Caitlin is that she sells out her games wherever she plays. The WNBA is happy to have her in the league other than the older players who are bit jealous of her abilities......women can be that way. They'll get over it soon enough.
Lots of luck 🍀 Caitlin and I hope you kill it 🎉🎉🎉 it looks like you are having fun and that’s the main thing 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉I am a UConn fan for the last 6 years but you are lifting up the game for girls 👧 basketball 🏀 Congratulations 🎉🍾🎈🎊 enjoy!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
See that Nike swoosh below Indiana Basketball? Caitlin knows the big picture, she understands what she holds, and she is ALL IN. Pro baller, pro business lady, a professional throughout.
They don't talk every day. This was two days in a row, then she had today off. They space them out. But there's a lot to cover in the first week of a new situation. It's best for all.
Funny how she brought up Erica as she was the one who seemed most excited when the Fever called Caitlin's name of draft night. I thought she was going to go clear through the roof of the fieldhouse.
Diana Tyrannosaurus should watch this and take notes on how to do an interview. She's over the hill and bitter about all the NIL money she missed out on
Might take a bit to get her legs - for the rookies they just finished the season/tourny with no break. Its been play, media then back to play with no offseason
after CC gets acclimated to the pace of WNBA basketball, she will do just fine! i'm sure she has the green light but unlike college, everyone on the floor is good
She’s the point guard, obviously she’ll QB the team. But she’s not the best WBB player in the world. She hasn’t even played against the best. She’s not better than Breanna Stewart or A’ja or Chelsea Gray, for example.
Gosh, Caitlin is amazing and I just wish a speech coach would help her to refrain from using the idiotic speech crutches of “like” and “you know.” Caitlin’s _way_ better than that. She’s a champion and should speak like one and not like the average athlete donkey. Just my 2 cents. That said, all the best to Caitlin!
Strategy simple. Give CC 25 shot attempts and Boston 20 shot attempts. This is what low rated, money losing WNBA need to revive their league, expand their fan based and tv ratings.
Sounds like T Brady and Ray Lewis studying the game. And now LOGO CC 22 FEVER ⛹🏻♀️. Now you have another group of sisters to have on your list. Appreciate for you getting us to be on ladies 🏀. I'm ready
Yet thousands care. Millions care about Caitlin and her day to day. Also, it provides understanding that there's so much she doesn't know or hasn't experienced in the WNBA yet. Thanks for watching.
But you are here commenting. You must have some level of curiosity. Maybe you should watch one of their 36 games televised this season to see if they can make you or your family a fan?
@@ScottAgness Yeah...fans focus on stats. Players focus on the task at hand. Real Goats have no idea about how many games are sold out.....she's not built for this...she hit her basketball peak in college... All downhill from here
Most of these female basketball players do inly do light training. I don't say any of them put work in the gym like the man do. Lebron puts thousands of dollars, maintaining his body all year long. The game is faster because the court is more spaces, plus the shot clock
not everything you see is on the internet. i’m sure these female players put in a lot of money and time into getting to where they are today. We don’t need to tear down women to uplift men.
A real woman is not built like a man, we are not changing what God did, we can’t. We are here to enjoy WOMEN sports, the others can just go over to the MEN sports. We understand the genders here and appreciate both games.
Dude, she's literally one of the best prospects to come out of college, if not THE best. She's already selling out arenas for Indiana and other teams are purposely moving their games to larger stadiums for when they play them to keep up with the ticket demand.
@timothy5988 Where was Clark in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th qtrs of the SC/Iowa game? Lmao. You thought because i mentioned Paige I was a U Conn fan. Ha! Nah, buddy I was rolling with SC all day but since I know you're not going to answer my question about where was Clark in the 2nd,3rd, and 4th qtrs against SC, I will. She only scored 12 in all 3 qtrs and only had 5 in the 4th when Iowa needed her most. Joke's on you😅😅😅...
Sometimes the athletic beast you dread guarding is a pretty, well spoken, intelligent, amazing young lady that has just endured some crazy drama and criticism over a college career...now...she's gonna be collecting heads...like an assassin...
But I like Gunsmoke. 🤣🤣 But all kidding aside Caitlyn is so genuine and relatable you can’t help but like her. If they don’t they just as well go watch The Riffleman (except I like that one too).
