They all see it not just Miller, they just don’t wanna admit it. You gotta be blind and totally nonobjective to not see it. CC got the goods and she’s just getting started. She’ll get better in the offseason when she has the time and chance to improve her game
Angel Reese has an equal beef, at not even being INVITED. She's the WNBA rebounding leader, just as CC is the assists leader. And I hope they do beat the brakes off of the olympic team
I am just glad it should be a real game. Both teams have motivation to win. The old Olympic team needs to prove they were the right choice. Team WNBA wants to show they deserved to have been selected.
Because CC, Boston, and Mitchell are the 3 starters, and the core of the Fever. And they are on the All-star team. This is more than the All-star game, this is a resume to Dunn that she should be the head coach of the Fever.
@@__________Troll__________ I want the WNBA team to win, but it's unlikely. A'ja Wilson is a basketball monster. Basically, she's Clark+Reese. On the other hand, Griner can't run anymore and neither can Taurasi. I think if they run like mad they can beat them down the court and get a lot of bunnies. Both Boston and Reese can run the floor really well, so have one of them sprint down the floor on each new offensive possession, alternating who gets to sprint between the two. Griner will be hopelessly gassed in two minutes. I don't know how fast Jonquel Jones can sprint the floor, but she could alternate when one of the other two are resting. CC is a better passer than anyone on the olympic squad now that Bird is no longer playing, so I think that is another advantage. Even so, you are right that the odds of a WNBA all star victory are not fantastic. Still, that is what I am hoping for.
Not trying to say that it will, but in the event Cheryl Miller does get that coaching bug sometime down the road, it would be cool if Caitlin tries to recruit her. Though I'm sure Cheryl Miller is happy what she's doing right now.
No, it’s a half-court offense when the players are in constant motion and the idea is to make 3 to 4 passes-minimum-before a team shoots. The Lynx run a motion offense. Uptempo is called, oddly enough, uptempo.
Sides cost her the 20th assist with a brainless timing of a time out. CC223D was also complimenting the owners of Mercury for facilities, throwing shade at the uninterested owner of IF, IMO.
I really think most all the players just wanted to take a break from the hype and completion. This is why most all star games are just a show of fun and not an all out fight.
I understand some Sides criticisms, however seeing Lisa Bluders and Jan Jensons interviews about Caitlin Clark’s early Iowa career, there was huge adjustment to each other
Actually Miller said she has a team that wants to be the brakes off team USA. She also said she has no interest in getting back into coaching. So we can put that subject to bed. Who is CC going to guard today? There are no scrubs on Team USA. She’s going to have to guard somebody good. No more standing around on defense. Kind of like with the Aces game and she had to guard either Plum, Gray, or Young. It was Plum who had her seasons best. Fortunately, she’ll be subbed as it is an all star game so the all stars may have a chance-if they don’t get to far behind.
Cheryl stated when she got the call and asked if she wanted to coach, her response was that she didn’t want to coach again, but then when she realized it was a one time all star game, she was all in. So, it seems ridiculous that fans would jump on Caitlin’s support for playing this game with Cheryl as a signal that she would become the Fever coach, seems to me like content creators were just coming up with story lines to grab interest and start discussions.
If CC will create for her team.mates with assist of 25 I think CC just have to score 15 points then the 65 points would just another 30 points from her team mates to defeat USA to Paris
She won’t be playing the sad Wings defense. Yes, she has better players to pass to, but she also has much better players across the board defending. Much better.
Because CHERYL MILLER is REGGIE MILLERS Sister, She has been around NBA Basketball more than Other Females, pertaining to The WNBA. That has given Her more of an NBA Mentality, which is somewhat the WNBA Lacks, to get to the Next Level.
Clark,needs to tell the Fever owner, Herb Simon,either get rid of Christie Sides,or,she will sit out next season.Also get rid of Linn Dunn,who hired Sides,and is her biggest supporter.
They’ve lost multiple games because of poor coaching decisions down the stretch. I don’t think she’s a horrible coach but she’s not at the level this team needs if they’re gonna eventually push for a championship.
Caitlin is skilled, and its great to be excited about new players, but is she really better than all the guards on the roster? Thats a reach! I dont know if shes better than Kelsey or Sabrina. Both average more than her, not to mention, Kelsey has 2 rings. I think yall are still hyping off what she was doing in college. Those days are over!
Kelsey is a shooting guard not pg. KM doesn't normally look to assist or help others. That doesn't diminish who she is but it is for her not the team. CC is probably the best passing guard. Not the best guard.
No one is checked like CC. Every great player has mass turnovers and still great: Babe Ruth most home runs and most strike outs. Michael Jordan - must game winners made shot. Lebron - career point leader but most turnovers. Plus, CC is tired. Legs need rest since playing for a year straight with no rest. Wait till the break.

How absolutely crazy does it look when a team doesn't want the record setting assist player on their team?!? This makes their scoring SO much easier and is the best thing that could be added to the firepower on the team. It-is-just-stupid!!!!
I don’t know man. Caitlin gets absolutely cooked by Jewel Lloyd and Jackie Young for example. Caitlin is a better distributor because neither one of them are natural point guards, but other than that they’re better guards overall.
agreed Clark is not good on defense, turns her head a lot, doesn't see ball backdoor, sometimes she plays free safety I think and wants to be around the ball to get out and run the break, but Clark one day will be a big time scorer thats what she was in college and now we are all impressed with how the leading scorer in college Bball is such a good passer and doesn't need to hoist up shots, she is trying to fit in with her team even if it looks like it will be more difficult for her to fit in with the league,which I don't get this woman is going to get EVERYONE PAID

Reese is a great player who wants to win as much as anyone else and she too has a beef. The #1 rebounder in the WNBA was not even invited to olympics tryouts. She was green and a little jealous at the start, but I am ready to forgive her. I like watching her play too, though I think CC is much more fun to watch, And if she plays great, it increases the odds of a WNBA all stars win, so I hope she gathers 25 rebounds, knocking A'ja on her can for every one of them (though I love A'ja's game too).

And if CC losing the game would give her enough pleasure, I'm saying it wouldn't surprise me if she favored that. Of course, we won't really know, will we.
Let's be real. Her shooting percentage is identical to Clark's. No, really, look it up. And somehow I think that wide open under the basket, she's going to make the bunny. Angel Reese is one of the big keys to victory in the upcoming all star game. I'm hoping for her to have the game of her life. I am much more steamed at the old guard than a rookie like Angel Reese.
