It's extremely rare for one player to carry a team to the Final Four. The only examples I can remember in the women's game were Jackie Stiles and Angel McCoughtry. What Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers did this season was special. Clark lost one of the best post players in the country and willed Iowa back to the Final Four.

I get this is supposed to be a compliment, but they needed every single point from affholter, stuelke, Marshall, and Martin. They really have a complete team at this point in the year.

At least they didn't miss as many free throws as Lsu! Angel had to have shot about 50% at best from the line. At least from 2ndq on, I missed the 1stq. And Lsu missed a lot of putbacks off of rebounds. Iowa achieved a rare feat of winning despite getting outrebounded by a lot
I’m a person of color. My fave players was Larry Bird. Skill and passion is universal and should be recognized no matter the skin color. I can’t believe that skin color is what separates people. It’s just an ignorant world view. Someday we will all live in harmony because our Creator revels in diversity. Until then, be classy and be good to others.
After the championship game last year, I said women’s college basketball would have the highest rated game ever if Caitlin Clark of Iowa and Paige Bueckers of UCONN met in the national championship game. Well, fast forward a year later, and it looks like the semifinals this weekend will indeed have the highest rated women’s college basketball game EVER!!!
