Agree 💯! Britnney Griner has publicly stated: "I honestly feel we should not play the national anthem during our season,". She is ungrateful and hates America. It’s because of BG, the Russian Merchant of Death was set free. She only played one game this season. Why is she on USA Olympic Women’s Basketball roster and not Caitlin Clark is mind boggling? This take didn't age well. CC just became the first wnba rookie in history to score a triple double. People are watching her because she's GOOD. Even got me watching the wnba again since it's conception in the 90s. By chance if she stays healthy and becomes even greater, which will happen as long as she stays injury free, these "hot takes" will become a parody of itself.

CC played internationally FIBA 17 , and twice for FIBA under 19 2019 and 2021 won as MVP beside the Gold x3 She is best NCAA player as highest scorer both men and women with 3951 points and highest assist . She should have been automatically selected with said qualifications the same when Taurasi when she was selected for Greece Olympic 2004 before playing in WNBA so why change the rule of selection

The Dream Team in the 92 Olympics included a player who could barely play due to a bad back (Larry Bird), a player who came out of retirement (Magic Johnson), and a college player (Christian Laitner). Those three players were among the most popular. You demand “new fans” learn the history of the WNBA. 1000% CORRECT to leave Caitlyn Clark off of the Olympic Womens basketball team. The olympics is not a popularity contest. The goal is to win the gold metal. Caitlyn does not have an NCAA Championship, she does not possess the skillset or mindset to compete on an international level. Caitlyn got all sorts of endorsements, she was the number one draft pick, shes the face of the indiana fever (despite the fact that Aalyiah Boston is an olympic gold medalist), and some ppl are trying to make her the face of the WNBA. Caitlyn has gotten all of this bc of the white power structure in this country. Now they want her to have a gold medal. The white power structure wants her on the olympic team, even if she rides the bench the whole time, just so that she can have a gold medal. That is how desperate they are to put Caitlyn on a pedestal. The the white power structure knows shes not good enough, caitlyn knows shes not good enough, but they will do anything to try to put her at the top. I feel sorry for caitlyn.
