Caitlin Clark Played Badly but STILL is the Best PG in the WNBA...

Mitchell had 9 points, two assists, an offensive rebound that led to a put back, and a block. Let’s stop pretending Clark “took over in the fourth.” She played like crap and rode her all star teammates to a victory.

Honestly the team would not be winning games without Boston. She’s that important to the team. And she works well with CC which makes her even better on this team when the coach uses them correctly.

The team had undone all the positives and progress they had made. Until the fourth quarter. The system won! Fast pace is how they need to play! Mitchell played defense!!!!! Mitchell even passed. She had 3 assists. She had 4 rebounds a block and a steal!! Boston was a beast and made an incredible play to save a ball going out. She had 16 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 blocked shots!!!! Katie Lu was amazing, she had critical baskets, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals!!!!. The bench did well too. . If they play high speed, they will win many Games and have a great chance to beat good teams. Catlin Clark is the best point guard to lead them in run and gun in the WNBA! Sides public dressing down of Catlin was horrible, Just like her grabbing arm ​@kevincunningham3655

We all are ignoring Sides, for several reasons, but number 1 she isn't a real coach. Right now she is just a speed bump in the way. This team would be top 3 if she just ran with the wave, oh well live and learn.

CC needs to work on her mid-range shooting. She has NOT been a consistent 3pt shooter since joining the league and it is taking away from the other good aspects of her game.

Reese lost and tried to extend her mcdouble streak. Clark led her team with 14 points /assists in the 4th q and 2 steals to seal the win on the road. Reese was attempting stat padding down 13 as her team was totally embarrassed in a losing effort at home. Spot the difference.

Their offense which is not the best is still better than their defense. Whenever they play a team that likes the up tempo style of play they get broken by the fourth quarter if not the third.

I think it’s kind of the opposite. Clark took more shots than normal. But she connects more when she’s running the offense. I think Sides wants to run the offense her way, but Clark is not a 2 or a Forward. It’s wild. But it’s a lot about control.

@@jaylucas8352 Clark is a PG, while Aja entered the league and is still a F/C so comparing their stats is pointless except to show that for a PG who has the ball in their hands a lot more, CC should be leading Aja in ppg but is not. How far CC will go and what she will in the end attain is really just speculation but one this is not, she does not have the NATURAL athleticism that Aja nor a number of the other players have. What I will give her is this, she has incredible speed in transition and is already an ELITE passer of the ball.

Sabrina doesn’t take over games like Clark does and spark the offense. I watch them both and Clark edges her right now. Only thing Sabrina has is floaters on Clark, Clark has MUCH better passing and floor vision.

I’d suggest watching the games. She plays a step or two faster, and in control, than anyone on the court. Stop w/ the turnovers and look at the decision-making. Not every turnover come from bad decision. At worst, she’s forced to make tough passes when her teammates lack motion. Great QBs throw lots of ints. She’s top PG in league and will only get better.

She doesn't shoot the 3 well, she takes way to many of them. She could average 25pts a game easy if she develop her offense more and quit jacking up 3s. There is hardly anything about CC's game that screams man this is big time. So she can shoot the 3 from range logo 3s people call it. At the end of the day it's a bad shot. You still get 3 points. So it's say on average CC hits maybe 2 logo 3s each game well she takes about 6 and that's a poor percentage. She bails the d out every time. I need her to out her head down and drive the lane draw in the d and dish it or develop a floater. Clark does have a great first step but she just love that 3. I don't those are woefully bad attempts that she shoots. Anyways didn't mean to write u a novel but gotta say she's a solid C if I graded her but closer to a c- than c+ she got a lot of work to do. She's a rookie so she can improve but I better see some big improvement year two. Players are talking about how they’re looking around for CC on free throws so she’s accounted for. She’s learning but she’s on a team not much different than last year’s team that finished dead last. With a coach that is woefully inept. Like shouldn’t be coaching JV. Not every turnover is a bad decision. Her vision and court IQ are off the charts elite. Shooting logo threes is better than Mitchell dribbling all over creation and jacking up a fadeaway three. How many points does CC account for when combing points & assists? Much of what seems like bad shots are out of necessity bc she’s on an awful team that’s horribly mismanaged. And she’s still thriving.

She has almost 2 more per game than the 2nd worst, is on track for the most per game of all time by a wide margin. And even in college, she had the third most in college history and the most by a college player since 2014… so most in the last decade

I don’t know Magic’s rookie ratio, but Sue Bird was 1.8. She ended her career over 3, and her avg was 2.3. I think if Caitlin ends up 2-1 she’s going to be pretty solid.

Sabrina this year is 18ppg, 6.2 assist pg, 4.2 rebounds, 34 fantasy points. Clark is 17ppg, 7.8 assists (#1) , 6rebounds, 38 fantasy points. And Clark is a rookie. Sabrina’s rookie numbers were 50% less than Clark’s.

@@jaylucas8352 Sabrina only played 2 games her rookie year, and can score 30 points anytime she wants to, but she prioritizes running her offense over scoring like a true point guard. CC's ball handling has improved so much that I'm shocked, and on another team with another coach her potential as point guard / floor general would be phenomenal. But defensively she can't see SI with binoculars. You're assignment as a point guard is to keep the opposing guard in front of you, and the more talented PG's are running through her easier then wet tissue. Stats won't tell you that. Defensively, Sabrina sprints the whole game like a psychopath, and is one of the most intense active players in the NBA or WNBA. Put it like this, if Dirk Nowitzki was in shape enough to focus on D like Sabrina, the Mavs would've won the championships, PERIOD (he SUCKS on defense), but again, I'm not going to speculate where CC is going to be defensively in 2 years, because this rookie class has repeatedly shocked me with the things they have accomplished.
