Sheriff is 100% my favourite. I just hope to god they actually allow people to buy those skins that are legacy, they would make a killing if they're open up for sale.
That Arcane skin definitely isn't going to sell when they do this visual update. The Arcane skin looks very, very bad in comparison to all of the others.

@@OxOx_XoXo1 It's less about simping, it's more so that I've played with the current Caitlyn for hundreds of games over numerous years. Even if I love the new one and willing to let the old one go(because god that outfit and everything is a diservice and needed to go.) I will still miss it simply because it is what I've experienced this game alongside.
This honestly feels like Caitlyn finally "Grew up" I like how her personality is still the same, but there's a bit more hint of maturity in it. I absolutely love it!
Alot of Riot's older champs needed visual updates like this. Keeping their older kit whilst fixing their older and unattractive past skins which were just reroll fodder.
This was riots first ASU (art & sustainability update), which they've brought in only recently, which they I assume are gonna do now with a lot more of the older champions rather than just giving them VGU's (visual & gameplay update). ''We hope that by introducing ASUs, we can modernize more of your favourite champions and lay a better foundation for future skins.''
The issue with old Cait was that her Model/looks conflicted with her personality. Old cait looked more like a Wacky aristocrat with a large rifle, Now she looks more like an Aristocrat who can be taken serious and more authorative with a large rifle. And she still has her silly hat, but I like the hat. Yh she shows less skin but she is sexier in her new model :p
I love how they finally gave the rifle scopes a real size, and not those bigass glass lens, the different scopes on different rifles are the little eye candy that does it for me, like the safari having a real long scope, the resistance having a cool scope, the pool party and arcade now have a slim rifle perfect for her not that huge chunk of plastic for pool party and metal for arcade 10/10 Still as a main Annie, her Cafe cutie takes the spotlight Sorry not sorry
Caitlyn now looks like an actual character now ! Jokes aside I cannot put into words how fantastic the work of the artists who worked on the rework and the ones who worked on Arcane is !
Because pretty much her new animations are based on Pulsefire animations already, and the only thing is that the skin color looks kinda dull compare to new visual but that's just it. PF itself was a visual update already
She used to look Hott, now they made her cover up all her cleavage and midriff. Riot did the bait and switch. Sold us sexy skins, then swapped them out for fucking prude skins any Christian mother would be happy of. Didn't think Rito would favor the right like that.

There's nothing wrong with sexualisation in a character as long as it *fits with the characters lore and personality*. Take Eve or Elise for example, their entire thing is about luring in people with their looks for their own agenda and manipulating them - thus they are very sexualised. Rakan is flamboyant and confident and a charmer, so he wears very little. Caitlyn is an understated organised detective hunting her family's killer and fighting crime. The fact that an interesting career centered character is reduced to being some sexy steampunk fatale is not only unfitting towards her character, but also quite sexist (and btw you saying "but I'm a girllll) won't change that). There is nothing in Caitlyn's character that would benefit from overall sexiness, character design is meant to portray a character's ideals and personality. Having Caitlyn in her old skin is like putting Aatrox is a pink fairy costume it doesn't fit their characters and is overall very bad character design. Tbskyen (a professional character design analyst) has a nice 1 min video explaining this further, and a longer one talking about how there's nothing wrong with sexualisation if it works for the character if you're interested :D lmao they deleted their reply, basically @theNimboo's response to a different opinion was to call me a republican

This is nice, i have always thought that they would do something like. Imagine a nice day and they decided to rework Vladimir: Riot: Rework Vlad? Ok. Bloodthristy vampire- check, Awesome look- check, Scary catchphrase that makes all tremble in fear- check. Literally Vlad: I AM BATMAN. Riot: We are a good team.
My favorite part about new Cait is that she looks so cute by wearing more clothing. I feel like some companies "cover up" their characters in a way that doesn't make sense or look good when they update it, but this one I'm 10000% all about.
Such an smart and elegant update Even the changes I didn't like as much are still plausible and beautiful. For example the R laser being blue. It's a goddamn hex tech thing, it's fair
This is glorious, I love the little changes to her tea in the laugh animation between different skins I really wish they would update the model and animation of Pulsefire a little though, it looks kinda stiff compared to the new Caitlyn
Now the pulsefire skin looks like an epic rarity skin, I could have improved it, I didn't think before that this skin didn't look like a Cait visual rework, unlike others, like Lee Sin's legendary skin. But other than that the visual rework was amazing.
11 years ago I bought Officer Caitlyn because of the skirt and now riot has removed it, I DEMAND A REFUND!/s But really, Caitlyn's model is so old, so it's good that she's finally getting an update.

Ahhh I love it 😍 she looks a lot more mature and authoritative, which is her character and what makes sense. The old outfits didn’t make her look serious at all and very chaotic, which is not at all her character. I’m glad they took the time to update her!
I don't understand why they gave her pants. Even in Arcane series she is seen wearing this outfit with the only exception she doesn't wear pants under her skirt and that is my favorite design for Caitlyn. Are they just that bothered of showing bare legs or skin?
I don't know why Arcade shoes seems like so small maybe they have to fix it because in prestige edition looks normal as her size Other points i wish like they had done: - The back of pool party she would have taken an orange juice and not a cup of tea like the splash art - In Lunar Wraith I know she is a mythological snake but I feel that the return to base is the same animation with another model, instead of Morgana the difference is very noticeable and we are talking about it being a 1350 skin reworked in 2021 not in 2015.

I do love all of her new looks but at the same time I'm mildly conflicted. They literally removed all her skirts. Before you say "Herp derp, it made no sense." Bitch this is a game where people like zoe and annie exist, where ivern exist, none of that shit makes sense. Those skins were just fan service and thats completely okay, I wouldn't be conflicted if they changed some, but they changed every skin to pants minus safari. Feels weird, even if it does look nice.
Sexiness isnt necessarily what i normally look for in female champions, but that pool party skin was really next level...like wow, pretty cute not gonna lie
So in short, they made her cover up more and made her look more asian for some reason. Not bad, I like the new clothes but I kinda feel like the short skirt was part of her character to be honest...hope the fuzzy cuffs are still around, at least.

I got Sheriff Caitlyn years ago from a chest and I didn't like it that much because of how old it looked...but look at it now! Definitely will be happily playing Cait with that skin on from now on.

Even in sets with little to no changes to the outfit itself the detail added to weapons is so cool, it really shows how well done each update was even in stuff people likely wont notice as much

Yes, Pulsefire and Battle Academia remain unchanged, they said they won't update legendary or the newest skins much with those Art & Sustainability updates. :D

MF needs a aesthetic rework too. Like old Caitlyn, her original design has aged about as well as milk. The early champ designers definitely took a "let's make them overly sexy to attract teen boys" angle back in the day and that just seems tone deaf these days. I don't have a issue with the characters being attractive, but I think it needs be be done in a more classy way.
If I had to guess it's probably to give off a more "aristocratic" vibe than before. Because as it was in history, if you were pale you were rich and noble. I do think some other skins should've had a bit more of a tan than base though, like why is the Pool Party skin so white when she's IN THE SUN.
People are impatient about rework. Guys as a developer myself it's so hard to do a change than creating something new. LoL is a growing game. the system has already tons of updates that's why it is really hard to have a rework. you will regress everything.
League became infested with anime estetics like it is another game, no new unique champions everybody is attractive human. If you remove colors, hairstyles and accessories all models look the same.
Maybe no one notice that but I don't think her face on model is suit to Caitlynn voice accent. I'm an Asian but I think she should more looks like British more than Asian. I like the old Cait and the new Cait is really good. She would perfect if they change her face on model. How ever it's just my opinion and I still pick Cait for adc.
Yeah I always thought Caitlyn was supposed to be a reference to rich european nobility, but her rework makes her look incredibly asian for some odd reason. I'm not sure it fits what her stereotype is meant to be.
As someone who is just getting into league, I was shocked when I saw her old design. I'm glad her new outfit isn't so sexualized, it rlly didn't make sense for it to be at all, seeing as how she's a enforcer. The colors are also just way more pleasing to look at and makes her look less like she belongs in a circus 😭
New designs are cleaner overall, less cartoon-y. Officer Caitlyn... I mean, the classic one is 'sexy policewoman' costume... and the new one is absolutely more of a 'real cop' functional take like an OG Jill Valentine, but that frilled skirt was a defining trait. I'm torn because the new one is good, but now I can't dress in a frilly skirt. I mean, Miss Fortune is just 'sexy pirate' cosplay, which is why I always forget she's a 'real pirate'. If there is a design aesthetic they are moving away from with Caitlyn, doesn't that also hold true for Miss Fortune?
her sheriff one is like one of her best looking skins, It's like it's a completely new skin. Honestly they should be releasing these skins to buy when the update is out. MANY would gladly pay for them
Only realized after looking very closely, but her face suffered some changes too... they made her look a bit more asian. Specifically, those asian chicks that look like dolls.
