Cajón Solo 

This is the second in a series of cajón videos produced by Meinl Percussion. I decided to do an improvisation based around a non-traditional (i.e.- not Peruvian, not Spanish) funk groove, as I find myself often replicating drum set parts with cajón on gigs... I have even taken the place for a drummer and primarily used cajón on acoustic tours behind artists as varied as rock guitarist Lindsey Buckingham and neo-soul artists Les Nubians.
