I've made these po'boys for my family a bunch of times. They love them. My favorite way to eat them is with mustard, shredded lettuce, banana peppers and homemade pickled red onions! Amazing!! Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, that was a brand new deep fryer that I bought from ebay, that claimed to be a commercial fryer! It's actually a cheap made china product. I set the thermostat and the the light turned off indicating that it was at 350 degrees, but it wasn't even close, lol! If you look at the Crawfish Boudin Balls video I posted yesterday, you will noticed that I used a thermometer before dropping those in ;) Good eye though, lol

I've been making these for years, and my oh my they are good! Maybe I'll do them on the grill, and add in a little smoky flavor next time! It would only make it better than it is.

@@SmokyRibsBBQ I am just chilling out watching youtube, and nothing but your older videos are showing. 7, 8, 9 years ago. It is fun to watch where you started and where you are now.

Well, the sides on that skillet are only about 2 inches, and I had maybe 3/4 of an inch of oil at best. If you try to fry a pork steak that has been floured without any oil, and have success, then I want to learn that trick!

+Dahamma73 Yeah, I cringe when I look back at these old videos I did, lol, but they still get views so I leave them up, for now anyways lol. This is a really good sandwich. We make this from time to time, and always been one of our goto recipes. I appreciate you watching

Not being critical but why would I ant to fry pork steaks in two inches of oil in a skillet? I try to fry pork without any oil at all because it has so much already.

Perfect !!, one tip; Dont turn the meat so much during bakin, let it be for at least 3-4 mins each side :-)

Okay I finally did it. Seared them over charcoal. It kicked the flavor up but didn't thicken in the oven like when you flour and brown them.
