I like how you went back into the graph and made the change to the y axis because sometimes graphs aren't very clear and they can be deceiving from what you're actually trying to get across.

It is quite interesting to look at how you calculate the SEM on a calculator and the difference in calculating it on an excel worksheet. At first, it looked kind of intimidating to look at such a big sample size and trying to calculate the SEM but you made it easier to understand and being able to calculate it.

It’s surprising to me that the standard error of the mean can help you calculate a 95% confidence interval of the mean since this is a representation and not the whole population.
1.96 is used because the 95% confidence interval has only 2.5% on each side. The probability for a z score below −1.96 is 2.5%, and is the same for a z score above +1.96. Adding 2.5% and 2.5% together is 5%. 1.64 would be correct for a 90% confidence interval, as the two sides (5% each instead of 2.5% and 2.5%) add up to 10%. Does that help Austin?
