Hello, we have not worked with floorings on our own. But, ideally it should be about 10 mm. Always use Haksons Ultra Clear

I am using Haksons high gloss resin and hardener.Im facing a problem with the yellowing of my finished products aftr few weeks.I just wanted to know why this happens and how to sort it.Pleeeeaassee help.Thanks in advance.

Hey, the high gloss resin will yellow over time if it is not used with pigments. For a more glass like effect, use Haksons ultra clear.

Most epoxy resins will have similar densities, so it should work fine!

Hey, with Indian conditions in mind - pour in layers. Otherwise your resin can overheat.

which is for resin painting on a canvas ? casting or coating and then 2:1 or 3:1 ?

Hi, coating would be enough. 2:1 and 3:1 depends on the resin you are using. If it is Haksons Ultra Clear (the hardener bottle will have a black label), use 3:1. If you are using Haksons High Gloss, go ahead with 2:1.

Ultra Clear can be used for all purposes. High Gloss is a coating layer which gives a slightly softer feel.

Why is the packed quantiy of resin:hardener never in proportion, inspite of perfect proportions to be used available...??? and this has been a repeated experience... Its such a waste and it would be so helpful if controlled at the packing end itself

I had calculated the same amount as yours for first one but numbers are different. in rectangle coating 3:1 - yours was 12 inches, 8.2 inches totals 82.4 grams. but in mine - 12 inches , 8.2 inches totals 84 grams. why is it so? Im confused. i redo three times and still it is 84 grams.

Hi, I am assuming that you are using the android app. What we have done there is that we have given whole numbers. This makes it easier for you to weigh and pour. The android app is currently one version ahead, and the whole number will make weighing resin and hardener also easier. If you check again, Total will be 84 grams, Resin will be 63 grams, and hardener will be 21 grams. Do not worry and use the numbers shown in the app.
