Calculating the Instantaneous Acceleration for an Object Under Nonconstant Acceleration
1.1-07
When the velocity of an object changes in a nonlinear manner, acceleration is not constant. Then the usual kinematics equations are not valid. Differential calculus must be used to calculate acceleration at any given time. This video shows you how to do it. It also shows a visual of the motion of an object under such velocity function.
