Nice video- I have to say my opinion. I was so upset the Avs didn't get the #1 draft pick in 2017. The look on Sakic's face when the selection was made summed up all Avs fans. My first response was WHY!!! 4th pick all the good players will be gone... Sakic selected 'Cale Makar' than to find out Avs fans had to wait 2 years, to find out if it was worth it. Someone was playing a cruel joke on the Avs. No NHL player wanted to play for the Avs. The Avs went through an empty Arena to Standing Room Only, complete sell-out.... A Stanley Cup Winner 🏆

there is a video that explains it but basically they didnt know if cale would be able to perform as well at an nhl level. clearly makar proved them wrong though
