Different states Different situations will cause less coverage. Riley wasn't from Nashville and with college buddies....and they had footage. We could say every child that goes missing deserves nationwide coverage.

Alot of missing cases need exposure not just this one.

Most people don’t realize that while searching for Riley Strain two more dead bodies were also found. Probably missing persons as well, and eventually they’ll be identified I’m sure.

Every missing person, especially young people and children, deserves the same kind of coverage and exposure that Riley received.

There was coverage because there was drama. He was on cctv, drunk, left alone by his buddies, leaving the bar of a celebrity News thrive on drama, so do most people. Too many people go missing every day...

I thought the same thing.i was watching both stories wake upon the morning and before I would go to bed. yes there was Moore video on Riley (may his soul rest in peace). I was so frustrated for Mr. Harris because there was absolutely noting showing in what direction he might have gone. if I heard about someone missing in my area you wouldn't even have to ask me. I would just look so my video would be one less video to look at. my daughter lives in the cottage in Lubbock, I dont like how the grounds are not very lit up and I think camaras should be a must in apartment complix. could he have been taken by someone in the apartment complex. I know there is a lot of door bell videos. please father God bring Caleb Harris home. We have not and will not forget you. Promise

Yes, heard Uber driver was investigated as well as all of his friends and all cleared. Also heard the search has expanded to New Braunfels and San Antonio, TX.

oh? then let me just ruin the mood more. this is never ending, it's always another, some youth somewhere goes missing and either never pops up or ends dead, the only question is if the media will tell you, because just like every other story about anything, there's an innumerable amount, it's just a question of what makes the best story for the station, for them it's all just business. missing kids,murders, sexual assault etc etc, all happen endlessly everywhere, yet we only hear a few of each every day....that's on purpose and all for whatever they think will make the most money.

The security footage we saw was at 1am across from a camera that was across from his his apartment building. At 1am, Caleb and two other males (at least one to be confirmed roommate who owns the dog and the other one believed to be a third roommate) walked out into the front of their apartment complex to play with the dog. This is the security footage you are seeing played in the interview. All three males return into the apartment complex a few minutes later. At around 2:50am, almost 2 hours later, Caleb leaves (allegedly alone - no security footage has been released for this time period) to take the roommate's dog on a walk. At 3:01am, he posts a picture on the walk to his Snapchat. He continues walking and then at 3:12am his cellphone pings for the last time and looses all service.

Cameras are conveniently not working when cri-me takes place. I personally experienced recently and cops gave me the Ole cameras weren't working. Such malarkey.

Often times, parents are advised one way or the other. With Riley, he disappeared from a very populated area at only 10pm and they had loads of surveillance footage to place him in a specific location. In such a case, it's helpful to call on potential witnesses. With Caleb, he disappeared in a remote area with little to no surveillance or evidence to go on at a time where most witnesses would be fast asleep. I'm sure they canvased the area and interviewed neighbours. They've likely also spent this time doing forensics on the house from which he disappeared and on everyones electronic devices in hopes of clearing or incriminating potential suspects. Media is only required in the absence of any leads. If you have a working theory you need to investigate, you might keep it quiet in the meantime to avoid alerting potential suspects that theyre being looked into

I live near by. This has been in the news ever sense it happened. It is just now going national. Us locals been looking for weeks. My guess is with the other people found dead this is a serial killer. The cops are waiting to find him and if died in the same way as the others then they will know its a serial killer.

I wonder where he was and what time he placed his uber order? Did he order food before taking the dog, expecting to return before the food arrived? Or did he place the order while on his walk? If so, what time was the order placed and when was the ETA? What route did the driver take? Seems like one road into town, if Caleb was out there at that time, he might have been seen. Also, i understand leaving your wallet behind, but it is very abnormal to walk a dog without shoes. How did his friends not report him missing until morning? Did they not notice that he and the dog didnt return? They were all wide awake like an hour before. If he ordered food for more than one person, it's even more suspicious they didn't question anything
