Caleb Shomo Emotional Breakdown about The Farewell of Vans Warped Tour 

Caleb has been playing Warped Tour for so many years. Going back to the day of Attack! Attack! I feel all the emotion he had saying that speech. It’s been a long journey, I can’t speak for him, but sounds to me that it was all worth it.

“Everybody is different, and that is beautiful” Definitely the truth. Media and corporations always try to get people to conform to a standard. You need this to be cool. You need to do this to be norma. You need to dress this way or that way. No. You need to be different. You need to be you.

RIPPPP warped tour. So many god damned memories. Warped tour 09 the summer before my friends and I all went in different directions for college will always be one my fondest memories

Thank you Warped tour. Thank you so much for giving us scene kids and punk kids and metal kids somewhere to converge and just be together and go nuts during summer break! Warped tour was the soundtrack to my summers!

This had me tearing up tbh, warped tour defined my summers. It meant a lot to me since the first time I went when I was 13 (now I'm 23) and knowing i won't experience it anymore with my friends, family, or my future kids just sucks, hope Kevin keeps it going somehow or in someway RIP vans warped tour

And now I'm fucking bawling.😭 I finally got to go to Warped after wanting to for so many years. I went to both the Nashville and Atlanta dates and I had the time of my fucking life.

That energy in that crowd was insane. Best set I saw all day! I was at the far right I think LOL

I hope there will be something close to Warped in the future made for independent artists and bands to thrive, especially small local bands. This tour gave people a chance, the same people that have become huge now, like Caleb

You know, this shouldve been happening all along. More bands shouldve been expressing this. Greatest music festival EVER. We cant lose this.

Ever since I was a teen I wanted to go to warped tour, and this year I was finally able to go. One of the greatest days of my life. So sad it was the final one😭 #foreverwarped

I remember when attack attack first played on warped tour. We were all so young lol. That was the first time I heard them and I fell in love with their music, and became one of my top bands to listen to. I even had them on my myspace page back when everyone was using myspace. Their music has helped me with so much over the years so I felt what he was feeling at that moment. I will still keep on listening to bear tooth because he is such a great musician and to that I thank him.

i will never forget this moment. this was the last set i saw the last year of warped after going every summer since i was 13. i bawled my eyes out as i walked away when it was over. forever fucking warped. 🤘🏻❤️

Caleb Shomo is such a huge inspiration and role model for me. I love Beartooths music so much and I really hope I can see them again on the Disease Tour. I was so lucky to record their last song on warped tour.

I wish I could've went down to the states and experienced at least one Warped Tour. I live in Alaska😭

Rest in peace Warped Tour, thanks for the countless memories with friends, family, bands and ex girlfriends. 2008 - Orlando FL - Central FL Fairgrounds 2011 - Orlando FL - Central FL Fairgrounds 2014 - Orlando FL - Central FL Fairgrounds 2015 - Orlando FL - Tinker Field 2015 - Jacksonville FL - Tailgator's Festival Grounds - Funny story, Orlando Warped Tour rained out so they let us in Jacksonville if you brought the Orlando Ticket stub the very next day! So me, my brother, and best friend packed up the next morning, got the J's ready and hauled ass!

Sucks about Warped But my god it's gonna be just like MCR. You're gonna theorize ways it could come back, some will throw shade & say they abandoned the scene or whatever the fuck. Let things die in peace & remember them fondly. If you missed it, you missed it. I missed every North American Woodstock & you don't see me crying about it, and Woodstock was at least 50x the festival warped tour was. Kevin wants to move on, probably to something that'll turn a good profit. I understand love for music & expression and all that but from a business standpoint Warped is kind of... Well a joke. Bands like Memphis May Fire can't replace stolen gear & need a GoFundMe ((It might've been Like Moths to Flames but who tf knows w/ these formulaic names)). 1, What kind of Label can't provide for their artists? 2, What kind of signed band for a decade can't replace gear? Not "Rockstars" I'll tell you that much. It's sad to see it go, good memories, even some of my own. But who knows, maybe they'll stop writing music like a bunch of whiny teenagers. You know, because they won't have to pander to a bunch of whiny teenagers. Rest in Spaghetti, never forgetti.
