I started using the Reactivate hair serum from liiitlextra for the past month and totally switched from my previous serum since the past two months. It's been great. I just apply it once every day with the spray pump that comes with the serum. It's really easy to use, not oily, and without any fragrance. The hair growth is up to now so good, and it's only one month only and I will continue to apply it.
Many of my friends are using reactivate hair serum these days, and the majority mentioned that it is benefiting them in hair growth and reducing hair fall.
the hair fall i've experienced, that persisted for years, has stopped thanks to cocooniion shampoo, applying coccoonion hair oil, and the conditioner. after starting to use the reeactivate serum, i'm seeing tiny new hairs coming in. i appreciate your advice!
I use both Calecim and One Skin. I justify the cost by telling myself that this is a priority for me as I am a skin care junkie and investing in myself is what makes me happy and dont ever shell out big dollars on designer bags , shoes or clothes which does nothing for oneself but more like a show off to others that one has the the finance to strut around in branded stuff...lol. Really , think about it - no designer clothes , bags and shoes can camouflage a old wrinkly body or a saggy face...lol
Your mother is 80 in that photo?!? Wow, she looks far younger! Also, thank you so much for this hugely helpful video update! Been keenly anticipating it :) You and Claudia are the best! ^_^
Thank you! She's looking and feeling well for her age and we want to keep her that way : ) So glad you enjoy the channel. I love Claudia's content too!
coffee powder- even instant coffee made into a paste with a little water- rubbed onto scalp and left for 3 minutes before washing off in the shower- will wake up hair follicles :) You're welcome. It deters DHT! (so does fenugreek by the way)
Another great video Claire! I've been watching you for a while and just subscribed! I started Adipeau a month ago and am really hoping for improvement around my mouth and temples (I know there isn't much hope for temples really.) I'm also using Oneskin and TNS growth factors. The quality of my skin is much improved- less pigmentation, bright & smooth. I'm turning 50 as well and the loss of bone density and sagging is beginning to show. Thanks for all your great investigative work!!!
Welcome to the channel! Do let me know how you get on with the Adipeau cream. Good to hear you're seeing a difference with OneSkin. I do feel growth factors are the way forward for skincare!
You got me hooked on Calecim, I just started the hair restorative and got their free samples. Then I ordered the multi acting cream because I liked the samples so much. I'm also on my third bottle of Adipeau! Claire, you are costing me a fortune (Kidding!) - but these products are really working for me. I've tried plenty of expensive stuff that doesn't work - I really appreciate your thorough reviews.
I’m so glad to hear they’re working for you but, like you, I wish they were a little cheaper! I love the multi-action cream too. It’s perfect for balancing my oily skin and the longer you use it I think the results keep improving.
After I read all of these, I started using littleexttra reacctivate hair growth serum daily and rinsing it off with cocoonionn shampoo twice weekly. Together led to new hairs in only 50 days.
Thanks for this! I’ve been curious about innovative anti-inflammatory scalp and skin products because I have hidradenitis suppurativa and it has worsened on my face and scalp and is treatment resistant. But younger looking skin, fewer grays and thicker hair would also be welcome!
Impressing results! Would be interesting tough how it works compared to Minoxidil, which is the gold standard when it comes to hair loss and less expensive.
Thanks Claire. My husband did use minoxidil for a while and he thought it helped a bit but not on the same level as this. We're really hoping we can maintain the results by using only a small amount each week to keep the cost down. Time will tell.
I've been using the Qure microneedling kit with the EGF (epidermal growth factor, I think) serum. It goes through the needles, not just around them, like regular microneedling with a serum topically derived. My skin definitely looks more luminous and taut a few days afterward, increasing over the next few weeks, but I can't be sure how much is the growth factor vs microneedling, since I've only ever done either together.
Hi there, you have raised a very good point here. The stimulation of the scalp when using a micro-needling device is only enhanced when you use our stem cell-conditioned media. Doing a controlled study to compare the two different processes is something we are interested in conducting.
Claire, watched your nira video from 3 years ago. You look younger now! Maybe it is the eyebrows? Much thinner before. So please continue to thicken your brows. I will try the calecim. I’ve been loving the adipeau despite the claims of adipeau owner about tretinoin 😂…..thank you for introducing us to all these products. I feel your sincerity in your reviews.
Hi Claire! Quick query. After using half a bottle, do you need to store the bottle in the fridge or room temp? I haven't found any info about storage once the bottle is unsealed. Thanks in advance!
Another great and informative video! Great results on both! Expensive but I'm curious and might check it out. Your skin looks fantastic, and curious what your mum thinks of Oneskin, and it's performance.
So glad you found this helpful. My mum really likes OneSkin - she's convinced it's making a visible difference. I've taken a before pic so will take a couple of afters soon and put a review video together.
Hi…I have just ordered with your discount code. Thanks. Just wanted to know it’s meant to be on clean hair (dried) I presume. Does that mean I can’t dry my hair with any products….ie mousse etc.
I have been using growth factors for years..I won't go without them, tretinoin..and Vi C..I was using TNS..but wayy too expensive and also many more good ones have popped up..Bradceuticals is in that level of GF's used in TNS..Plant ones are weak compared and Bradceuticals is resonable..Please let me know if Calecim can be used with rogaine which I have used for a zillion years and I use a laser cap incredible results!!
Hello, I've been using multi-action cream and am curious about its scent. It's my second jar, and the cream smells a little like plastic or something that sat around for a period of time and is no longer fresh. Does your cream have a scent? Calecim did not return my inquiry. Thank you!
Hi. I mentioned the scent in my first update because the conditioned media does carry a slight biological smell which will be off-putting to some people. The cream is pretty much unscented compared with the hair serum, but I suspect it's the conditioned media from the stem cells that you're smelling.
Hi there! Thank you for your comment. Yes, Clare is absolutely correct. That smell is normal. We purposely chose not to add a fragrance. The smell you are experiencing is just the natural conditioned media that is packed full of wonderful proteins
Has your husband and dad been using on just he back crown or front hairline as well? And if yes on front hairline has it been as successful there as well? Also looks like last update was 2 months ago. How’s it going since?
Hi David. They have mainly been focussing on the back in both cases. My husband is maintaining his results but my dad still seems to be building volume! I included new pics in this recent video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RLlMKOmoCUM.html and I’ll film an update in a couple of months
The Auteur range was just too expensive for me but I've been using Calecim for this full year. Alongside red light I think it's done wonders for my skin health but it does take time.
I've tried a new Inkey List product pretty recently. 15% Vitamin C + EGF. It has naturally derived epidermal growth factor and so far I've noticed it's been the only vitamin C serum that hasn't oxidized although I have started keeping it in the fridge. I love the closed pump packaging. It's around $20 here in Canada. I've heard plant derived stem cells are less superior. Curious your thoughts.
I'd love to hear how the serum works out for you. It's a great price if it can deliver results. I've also heard people say plant-derived growth factors aren't as effective, but it's very early days so I think the jury is still out on that one. I think OneSkin's peptides are plant derived and my mum is convinced it's working for her.
@@SG-wq4rm It's still my Vitamin C serum of choice. There's a sale right now on the Inkey List site in Cananda so I just ordered 3 more for the price of 2. My skin has been doing pretty amazing but it's hard to pinpoint specific actions since I'm on regime of various actives. Another thing I love is that besides the EGF the serum isn't blended with retinol, salicylic or other actives so I can use it every morning. It gives me more control to alternate with my evening treatments.
@@lisawhite8718 Thank you for your response! Just to clarify..... pardon my limited English skills....so you prefer plain Vit C ? I am so sorry to bother you with all this 🙏
What an amazing video Claire! Loving these reverse aging videos. I was wondering if you saw had any effects from the Calecim serum on the restoring hair growth on the hairline. I feel like my problem is the hairline is receding on the forehead. It seems there was a discovery that these hair cells actually get "kicked out" so wondering if once these cells are kicked out if they would know how to regenerate again. Would love to know whether your husband or dad noticed any regrowth on the front hairline.
So glad you find the videos helpful. My dad hasn't really been using the serum at the front near his hairline but my husband has and feels there has been a thickening all over. There are quite a few before and after shots on the Calecim site itself which would be worth looking at. It's expensive but from everything we've seen the results are genuine.
@@Benegesserite Hi. I talk about maintenance later on the video and how often my husband uses it maintain results but, yes, you need to keep using it but you can use less of it and less frequently
Your husband does not even have hair loss problem, curious about the about your dad's status. Can you share a real short clip for your dad's hair after one or two months later to see if it really works. If so, I plan to try it on my hair. Thanks
My husband’s hair loss is a problem for him - it’s all relative to what we’re used to. Just published my dad’s 6 month results with before and after pics.
Has supplementing with MSM been considered? I’ve seen a lot of information within the natural hair community (specifically the YT channel Katherine Sewing). Could be worth looking into.
My 80-year-old mum with a thyroid condition is now using this hair serum. It's definitely helping, just not as dramatically as my dad's. I will include her in my next results video.
Sorry for the delay in replying! Growth factors exist in stem cells too so it is very difficult to say which form is best/ penetrates the skin and acts on our cells best. It will take time and research to flush these things out - for now we can only go by what works for us as individuals along with budget.
Hi Angela! Thank you very much for your great question. Although we do not have clinical evidence for use on the eyebrows, the mechanism of increasing youth signal concentration and action stands true. Eyebrow follicles are different from the follicles on our head so may require additional time to notice a difference. If you are going to try it out, we would love to hear how you find it!
Loving the Calecim products, only 2 weeks in. My skin is far more hydrated and the texture is smooth. I’ve just started the hair system. So exiting see you husband and your Dads results. Thank you for the info. Any chance you are going to try the new night serum?
Great to hear you’re enjoying these products. The hair system in particular has proved extremely beneficial for my husband and my dad. I’ve just moved on to start testing another brand of skin cream now.
Yes, or you could try just microneedling for a while to see if the results are maintained or try a combination of microneedling and red light. I use the skin products in three-month cycles.
My poor mum is suffering from frontal fibrosing alopecia, do you think this could help? The problem with this condition is there is no cure as it causes scarring and actually kills the hair follicles
Hi there, thank you so much for sharing this. We do not have any clinical data on Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia, but we are always expanding our clinical research. Without wanting to cause additional scarring to the scalp and hair follicles, you could try using the serum, without the derma stamp, this will not be as effective as there will be no micro-channels on the scalp. I would like to also state that our product is a cosmetic and is not a drug so we cannot claim to be able to treat this medical condition. I hope that you understand.
Good question, but no, not in my experience. Peptides signal to cells to perform as they did when they were younger, not to do something new or different.
Please do post updates. I'm tempted to buy this for my husband who has male balding. If it works for him, that'll be fantastic. I think your face also looks a lot more youthful and smooth these last couple of months. It hasn't gone unnoticed, and I don't think it's just Adipeau. Your skin actually looks more taught. My mom is using skinmedica with excellent results. I've tried serucell with good results as well. I'm sorry to say that neither of these are any more affordable. 😭
I will certainly post further updates. Thank you for your kind words about the changes in my skin. They have been gradual and subtle so it's been a tricky one to describe to people, but I'm glad you've noticed a difference. It just feels nourished and, like you say, more youthful. I agree I don't think it's just the Adipeau because I only use that on my cheeks now. Thanks for flagging the products you and your mom have tried. I really hope to be able to find something that delivers equivalent results for a fraction of the price! I'll keep searching : )
Hi. I'm not being paid to promote it - I'm discussing our experience which has led to very obvious results. It's an unsponsored review as all my reviews are. Here's my commercial policy which I take very seriously as a journalist. www.youtube.com/@TheHonestChannel/about
nteresting video. You mentioned products with 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁-𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 growth factors. What are some of the ones you feel show promise, both for the skin and hair?
OneSkin do a plant-based peptide serum which my mum has been using and feels it’s visibly improved her skin texture. There is some good evidence behind the new No7 range too. I’ll be posting an interview with the scientists behind it this weekend.
Ok Claire I’m going to order this for husband, hope his results are as good as mine with Adipeau. I just finished my 2nd bottle of Adipeau and wow. I highly recommended using 2 bottles of this before making your mind up if it works or not. Thanks🤍
Great to hear you’ve had good results with Adipeau. We’ve found the Calecim serum to be really effective for hair regrowth. My dad’s results get better and better.
