Here's the newest CTrain video! The biggest volume to date, we see five different locations with Volume Four - Barlow/Max Bell; Anderson; Centre Street; Shaganappi Point; and McKnight Westwinds.
Filmed in late-August through mid-September, 2021.

Calgary has beautiful CTrains, both the newer red-white-gray trains and the older tri-colour striped trains. I like the way Calgary's system is more like an true LRT operation and less like a subway (i.e. Edmonton.) I also like the scenes of the trains entering and exiting the maintenance building at McKnight Westwinds. Thanks for filming and sharing!!

I heard Calgary Transit might be able to accommodate 5- car trains like Edmonton in the future! Nice video btw!

It would require extending nearly all of the existing platforms as they're only long enough for four-unit trains. This sounds easy enough but is complicated by road crossings as well as track crossovers (like Somerset-Bridlewood).

@@Welwyn22 There are spaces on the other end, not the one close to the Calgary Transit Office/Bus Stations. Question though, In your opinion, which would be a great candidate fleet for the CTrain Green Line? Alstom? Siemens S70 or 700, Bombardier?

Not sure. Calgary's fleet is all Siemens so S70s would be most likely, but we'll have to wait and see.
