absolutes meisterwerk...

Bands change. Caliban never release the same album twice. If you haven't understand that yet, don't say you're a "disappointed as a fan" - because you're not really a fan. And even though this is not the best song on the album, it's still pretty good. Wait for the whole album before judging like the critics you are not.

Been a fan since "Vent"- around 2000-2001. And guess what? STILL A FAN! Of course their albums sound different from one another- that's the GOOD thing about them. Who wants to hear the same album made over and over again? Not this guy!

I have been enjoying Caliban for years and I enjoyed this track.

It's definitly different to the older stuff but in my opinion the change isn't bad. We all know that caliban isn't a band that rests on its old style but always finds a new one. That's why i find it stupid that people start bitching about them...acutally it seems to me like they never heard of them before... (Honestly i didn't like the song in the beginning too but after listening to it a several times it sounded pretty nice to me!)

Why is everyone saying this is generic Metalcore? This is the exact opposite. Generic Metalcore is breakdown based (ex. Emmure). This more driven by rhythm and guitar riffs. (And yes, I know Caliban have used a lot of Breakdowns in the past.) Just serves to show that most people don't know what they're talking about.

Another Hipster/Metal band !

Yeah well, they're changing, you could see they were more influenced by chuggish metalcore on their last album more than the "KSE" type of metalcore, I still dig the new stuff a lot, but I can see why some people may dislike it.
