Day one of what ended up being two days of hunting. I intended to make it a four-day hunt, but Mother Nature had different plans. This is almost exactly the same thing that happened to me in 2021. Thanks for watching. More to come!!

Nice videos. We went down the evening of the 2nd, 4th and 8th. Couldn't get to our regular spots because of the lakes on the canal roads. Ended finding a great spot I found years ago, my son, dad and I shot about 60 over the three evenings. I have't dove hunted the morning for dove since the late 90's as a teenager with my dad. Two mojo decoys and four statics, 12's and 20's with 6's.

That’s awesome! I’m glad you had success. There was a good amount of birds down there prior to that storm and I know they hung around. My car was the weak link here. Next season will be a different story, however. I’m planning on putting together a couple Eurasian hunts and hopefully redeem myself and my video production game. Yeah, I can't believe it happened almost exactly the same day as 2021 opener. Definitely looking forward to the next trip. Will be putting together some Eurasian trips this year as well. Thanks, buddy

Hey do you just park anywhere you like or do you need permission from the farmers?

@@chriscontreras5218 As long as it’s not posted, you should be fine. Just be considerate and leave it clean so they don’t post it next time. 😉 Some areas may need permission to use, though. There’s a lot of farmland there so just look for something that suits your needs and style. Thanks for watching. More to come…soon

Haha, it’s the ’Valley, just not the Central Valley. September 1 in Imperial Valley…and it was a mess!! 115° and mosquitoes that were starving!! I fared better than 2021 opener when my gear got trashed but this year’s storm lasted way longer! Thanks for watching and commenting 🤙🏻

@@OrienTal.TrOOps1520 That very well could have been the case this day. Either way, I got washed out of there shortly after and was limited to parking on paved roads and walking from there.
