this is fascinated. i didn't know there was an actual steampunk community. i knew about the steampunk genre of films and books. i love how this links to goth and new wave music too.
Absolutely amazing. By the way a "Diatonic Button Accordion" is an easy-mode accordion. All the buttons are already tuned to a key, so a "Diatonic Button Accordion" in C major tuning would have the notes C, D, E, F, G, A, B and C for each button therefore u can never really hit a "wrong note"
4:57 was my favorite steampunk girl,since it had been commented on by others.This video is my first time seeing anything other than google pictures,and I'm not too surprised to see so many basically make believe type things,but the second band and the Steam Punk Ghost Busters really made me decide to keep looking around. Nice video.
This is what I love about the Steampunk community. Friendly faces, with even friendlier attitudes. I am still new to Steampunk, but my God I'm in love with it. I hope you guys don't look down upon a newcomer! (I'm sure you don't)

Thanks! Well front row has its advantages, including better sound. I'll post a more complete AP set later this week, but sadly, my 4Gig card was acting up and only captured about a minute of video at-a-time before it got all "memory card error" at me. So, Derelict is in pieces.
@creep2nyt Abney Park- Herr Drosselmeyer's Doll. I never heard of this band, but with that song I so am a fan now, I love that song! You can listen to the full song on RU-vid, but also you can buy it on their website.

@DrMinion333 don't worry I'm new too and I completely agree I'm in love with the style and everything! So the "elders" are full blown gadgets while we are little bolts :)
Holysh!t. I've never been into this at all.. & Although most consume inventors appeared nerdy.. you can't say the women's fashions weren't beautiful!!! & Abney Park was awesome! More belly dancing influence, please!
Oh my god!! This is so cool! I just discovered steampunk and I love it abd abney park is one my meh fav American bands now. Can someone plz explain wat steampunk really is? Is so uber cool I love the style!!
steampunk is new versa of cosplay! steampunk with imagination of devices making wings or adding electric and steampunk smoke gun with the full gear! this is amazing :)
@Iheartnihon Actually, Steampunk is based on the Victorian era, (Queen Victoria reined from ~1876 to 1901), so that was more than 10 years after slavery was abolished in the US. :) And Will Smith was TOTALLY steampunk in the movie Wild Wild West. So join in the fun.
The cost can obviously vary a lot depending on how much you make and stuff, but from basic costumes to the amazing ones I'd suppose would be a few hundred dollars.
as many haters are on the page i have to give you props on the vid. great garb and creations. fable has some cool steampunk art all through out the games. guns knives clothes. keep tinkering.
