So, I'm a big fan, have a bike that can go on track but I'm so broke that not only do I have to run my lovely bike as a winter commuter hack but I also have 0 money to book a level 2 day before the end of December to take advantage of the discount. Sometimes life laughs at you rather than with you. Ahwell, here's hoping for better times. and a good Christmas to all. :)
This is level 4 ? Your kidding me?? Like childrun on a tricycle for the first time. Where is the actual "ADVANCED" trackday training for someone whos lapping everyone in the intermediate group with over a dozen trackdays?
They teach skills in levels 1 - 3. Level 4 they evaluate how well you are doing on those skills and improve the ones you are weak on. There are 100 things to think about when riding. I pick one and work on it for a few weeks or months. (Braking marker, corner entry, apex, exit, radius, camber, elevation (uphill, downhill, crest of hill), traction and number of degrees the turn goes through.) Then I move on to something else. The things I have worked on stay with me, even if I am not consciously thinking about them. Eventually it's just a Zen flow experience where you are in the moment experiencing all but thinking about nothing in particular.
