Really enjoyed this and fair play to you both going first class , work hard and it pays off massively , virgin looks lovely but I’m not keen on there economy if honest . I’m sure loved the west coast but I’ll see that over the next few vlogs , cheers guys . Myself and wife are 52 and we travel so so much now , whilst your fit and healthy get out and enjoy 👍

Absolutely get out there and enjoy yourselves, there is so much to see! Due to the long haul flights we only ever fly premium or upper with Virgin as we feel it’s worth it for the comfort.

Great video! Which plane type was this? We fly Upper in May and at the moment it says A350-1000 which looks amazing. Any recommendations for best seating option? Middle or window side?

It was an A35K - with two middle seats in a 1-2-1 layout. The other option from Heathrow would have been a B789, but this only has a single middle seat. Their new A330-900neo has a similar 1-2-1 layout, but doesn't fly out of LHR at the moment.

I think it was the A350. We really liked the middle isle seats due to the pull back section in the middle, we found with the window seats we couldn’t really talk to each other and enjoy the flight together. Hope that helps!
