It depends ? What is your reasoning? It’s not ideal to break a contract and you may owe ( that’ll be listed in your contract). Even if you don’t owe, there are certain agencies you don’t want to be black balled from. So be careful …. If you feel like your license is in danger, talk to your recruiter and see what options they have for you.

There’s pros and cons to travel nursing. One being far away from family and friends. But if you really want to make it work then you can. There are plenty of families where one spouse travels and the other stays home with the kids. Or if they’re older, parents just travel. You’d definitely have the finances to support them if one needed to be a stay at home parent due to you traveling. Of course, another con is travel job instability. You never know if you’ll get cancelled and be jobless until you find a next one and you’ll be desperate to take any job so you can pay for your mortgage.. even if it means not being closer to family The only real pro to travel nursing is the pay. People say you get to travel but I haven’t had a problem traveling as a staff nurse. I’ve already been to two countries this year and across the entire state and booked another vacation in a few months. They also say a pro is not dealing with shitty management.. well you are dealing w shitty management as a travel nurse because you’re literally there working for months at a time and then on to another hospital w shitty managemt. Conversely, if you find a great hospital w great people then you can only stay there so long until you’re no longer considered a traveler and not receive the same pay I’m not saying this to be rude, rather to show you that your situation has it’s ups too Anyways, everyone sacrifices something to live a more nomadic lifestyle. If it were easy to do then even you’d do it.. just think outside of the box and maybe you’ll find a way to travel as well

@@alyssazaira0406 Thanks for all that. I have an employee who's wife wants to quit her full-time RN job(3-years) for the excitement of travelling. She is a trained as a roaming nurse and already making 38$/hr plus full bene's. I think part of the good is if you are single....in their case it's husband, wife, and child. I see very few reviews of traveling nursing from a husband or wife perspective. Again, thanks for an honest review. I would like to keep my worker and I think she is reading the advertisements, not the actual stories.
