California vacation | Bad Chad and Jolene 🤠🌴 

Hey Chad! You are doing great with your driving down & Jolene's doing a swell job with her phone GPS & navigation support! LA traffic can be daunting, for sure! My wife Georgina & I were vicariously enjoying this video immensely! This drive and sights you were passing by are so familiar to us. We spent at least 5 months of every winter since 2006 in So Cal wallowing in the extravaganza it has to offer! It's where my wife was born. Her family home is not that far away from the Mooneye's store! Because of covid restrictions & family' health issues we've not returned for 4 years now & are pining for the palm trees. We were due to be there already, and hoped to meet you at the show. The Roadster Show has always been one of the highlights of our winters there. But our own case of "Christmas Covid" kicked our butts and we had to delay our trip. Maybe we'll see you in Syracuse or Winterport this summer instead! Have a great time!!!

Hey Chad and Jolene! Glad you came to CA and enjoyed the Petersen Museum and the Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS). You drove right past my home. I live a block away from Pann’s Fifties Restaurant, which pointed out. It was built in 1958, and is in the classic Googie Style. A SoCal icon. California is awesome, I’ve been to the Petersen twice, car heaven. You just missed the storm of the season at home. You should do the Vault tour and check out Chip Fooses shop, it’s in Huntington Beach, they give shop tours promptly at 12 noon.

Chad and Jolene, I really appreciated your tour of Los Angeles on the trip to the Peterson Auto Museum. Jolene your filming and navigation of the drive was terrific. Chad's comment about 2 people driving and he was steering was hilarious. That fuel savor device on the Volkswagen Tiguan would drive me up the wall. I'm like you give me an older Chev Suburban or Yukon Xl to drive any day..

I had to wonder if the feminization of the quality of patience , patience panties, was something indicative of personality or just something people say in his area. By the way, a compact space is not about if your car fits, compact spaces allow for less room for door swings. So if you don't want door dings from the next fat person who parks next to you and tries to get out of their car, shun compact parking spaces, unless you have a very compact car, or don't care to keep your car very nice.

I’m a master mechanic in Ontario, I think that off on thing will cause more starter sales , the guzzler tax is because it uses more fuel than a regular car at same size with larger engines

Thanks for sharing the traffic. Those oil wells are all over LA. While in Santa Monica go eat at the Santa Monica Seafood Company. You’ll enjoy it. It’s a must go for my wife and I during our annual trip on our Ducatis as we head up the PCH to see the races at Laguna Seca.

Those pumps are called pump Jack's. On some vehicles you can disable the idle shutoff. Everything out there is expensive.

The air quality is looking good for you, I was there about 9 months ago and the smog was so bad it was like looking at a black and white television and I could taste it on my lips for miles out of town. I was being paid, and that’s the only reason I would consider going to the west coast. And you talk about defacing peoples property, there is no consequence for it, and you would probably be jailed for making a complaint in California
